Setup and Installation

Mounting the Speakers

The GoHawk ATN5 speakers are designed for roll-cage bar mounting and support 1.5 to 2-inch bar sizes. They also fit 1.5-inch motorcycle engine crash bars. The mounts feature a 360-degree rotatable design for optimal speaker positioning.

  1. Select a suitable mounting location on your vehicle's roll-cage or crash bar.
  2. Attach the mounting clamps to the speakers using the provided hardware.
  3. Securely fasten the speaker assemblies to the chosen bar, ensuring they are tight and stable.
  4. Adjust the speaker angle using the rotatable mount for desired sound direction.

Wiring Diagram and Connections

The system includes a master speaker and a slave speaker, connected via a 65-inch speaker cable. The main unit integrates a 4.0-channel 1000W peak amplifier.

  1. Connect the slave speaker to the master speaker using the provided speaker cable.
  2. Connect the wired control to the designated port on the master speaker.
  3. For power, connect the 78-inch SAE to Ring Terminal Power Cable to a standard 12V power source. Ensure the red wire connects to positive (+) and the black wire to negative (-).
  4. If using an external USB drive for music, connect it to the USB port. (Note: USB port does not support charging).
  5. For auxiliary audio input, connect your device using the 3.5mm audio jack AUX-IN.

Operating Instructions

Wired Control Functions

The full-function backlit wired control allows easy navigation of the system's features.

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button (center button) to turn the system on or off.
  • Volume Control: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the volume.
  • Track/Station Navigation: Use the left and right arrow buttons to skip tracks or change FM radio stations.
  • Play/Pause: Press the play/pause button to control media playback.
  • LED Control: Long press the '-' button for 2 seconds to cycle through the blue and white LED light effects or turn them off.

Bluetooth Pairing

The system features Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless audio streaming with a range of up to 15 meters.

  1. Ensure the GoHawk ATN5 system is powered on.
  2. On your smartphone or compatible device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "GoHawk ATN5" from the list of devices to pair.
  4. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly from your device.

FM Radio Operation

The built-in FM radio receiver allows access to local radio stations.

  • Switch to FM radio mode using the wired control.
  • Use the left and right arrow buttons to scan for stations. The system supports auto-scan functionality.

USB Playback

Connect a USB drive containing MP3 music files for direct playback.

  • Insert your USB drive into the designated USB port.
  • The system will automatically detect and begin playing audio files.
  • Use the wired control to navigate tracks.

AUX Input

For devices without Bluetooth or USB, use the 3.5mm AUX-IN jack.

  • Connect your audio device to the AUX-IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  • Switch the system to AUX mode.
  • Control playback and volume directly from your connected audio device.

Maintenance

The GoHawk ATN5 speaker system features an IP56 waterproof design, making it suitable for outdoor use. Regular maintenance will ensure longevity and optimal performance:
