Setup
1. Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. The case supports both USB-C cable charging and wireless charging.
- USB-C Charging: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source.
- Wireless Charging: Place the charging case on a compatible wireless charging pad.
An LED indicator on the case will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of playtime for the earbuds and up to 60 hours with the charging case.

2. Pairing with Your Device
The Soundcore P40i earbuds utilize Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable and efficient connection. They also support Fast Pair for quick pairing with Android devices.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
- Select "Soundcore P40i" from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation.
For Android devices, Fast Pair allows for a seamless connection by simply opening the case near your device and confirming the prompt.

Operating the Earbuds
1. Wearing the Earbuds
Select the ear tips that provide the best seal and comfort for your ears. A proper fit is crucial for optimal sound quality and noise cancellation.

2. Touch Controls
The earbuds feature intuitive touch controls for managing playback, calls, and noise modes. These controls can be customized via the Soundcore app.
- Single Tap: Play/Pause music (default).
- Double Tap: Next track (default).
- Tap and Hold: Volume control (default).
3. Noise Control Modes
The P40i earbuds offer adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency modes.
- Adaptive ANC: Automatically detects ambient noise and adjusts cancellation levels for optimal quiet.
- Transparency Mode: Allows you to hear your surroundings while listening to audio, useful for awareness in busy environments.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Regularly clean the ear tips and the mesh of the earbuds with a soft, dry cloth to prevent wax buildup and maintain sound quality.
- Wipe the charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Storage
When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and ensure they remain charged.
Troubleshooting
