3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Before Installation

• Turn off power at the circuit breaker before beginning any electrical work.
• Determine your preferred installation method: plug-in for easy setup or hardwire for a more permanent, concealed installation.

3.2 Mounting the Fixture

1. Identify the desired location under your cabinet. Ensure there is sufficient space and a power source nearby.
2. Using the included mounting hardware (screws and clips), secure the light fixture to the underside of the cabinet. Ensure it is firmly attached.
3. If linking multiple units, connect them using the provided linking cables.

3.3 Power Connection

4. Operating Instructions

The Feit Electric Under Cabinet Light offers multiple ways to control its functions.

4.1 Manual Control (Fixture & Remote)

• On/Off Button: Press the button on the fixture to turn the light on or off.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the dimmer buttons on the fixture or the included remote control to adjust the light's brightness.
• Color Temperature Selection: Use the CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) button on the fixture or remote to cycle through preset white light temperatures (e.g., Soft White, Cool White, Daylight).

4.2 Smart Control (Feit Electric App)

For full functionality, including tunable white control (2700K-6500K), scheduling, grouping, and voice control integration, download the Feit Electric app.

1. Download the App: Search for "Feit Electric" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the free app.
2. Create an Account: Follow the in-app instructions to create a new user account or log in if you already have one.
3. Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The light only supports 2.4GHz networks.
4. Add Device: In the Feit Electric app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select your under cabinet light from the list of available devices.
5. Pairing: Follow the on-screen prompts to put the light into pairing mode and complete the connection process.
6. Control: Once connected, you can control brightness, color temperature, set schedules, create groups with other Feit Electric smart devices, and enable remote access from anywhere.

4.3 Voice Control (Alexa & Google Home)

After connecting your light to the Feit Electric app, you can link your Feit Electric account to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice control.

1. Open the Alexa or Google Home app.
2. Navigate to the 'Skills' (Alexa) or 'Works with Google' (Google Home) section.
3. Search for and enable the "Feit Electric" skill/service.
4. Link your Feit Electric account when prompted.
5. Discover devices. You can now control your light using voice commands (e.g., "Alexa, turn on the kitchen light," "Hey Google, dim the under cabinet light to 50%").

5. Maintenance

The Feit Electric Under Cabinet Light is designed for minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure it is turned off and unplugged (if applicable). Wipe the surface with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• LEDs: The light features integrated LEDs, meaning there are no bulbs to replace. The LEDs are designed to last for the lifetime of the fixture.

6. Troubleshooting
