4. Product Overview
The VILTROX Retro 12X-12W features a compact design with a metal frame and leather texture. It includes an integrated display and control buttons for easy operation.

4.1 Components and Controls

- Display: Shows current settings (mode, brightness, color temperature, battery level).
- Power Key: Turns the device on or off.
- Mode Key: Cycles through different lighting modes (CCT, HSI, FX).
- Switch Key (SET): Confirms selections or enters sub-menus.
- Increase/Decrease Keys (+/-): Adjusts parameters like brightness, color temperature, hue, or saturation.
- 1/4" Screw Hole: For mounting the light onto stands or cameras. Two holes are available (bottom and side).
- Type-C Interface: For charging and continuous power supply.
5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
The light features a built-in 7.4V/22Wh rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the Type-C interface on the light.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (5V/2A recommended).
- The display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 3.5 hours.

5.2 Mounting the Light
The light can be mounted using its 1/4" screw holes.
- Attach the included cold shoe mount to a camera's hot shoe or a compatible rig.
- Screw the light onto the cold shoe mount using one of the 1/4" threaded holes.
- Alternatively, mount the light directly onto a light stand or tripod with a 1/4" screw.
5.3 Attaching the Silicone Diffuser
The soft silicone diffuser helps to soften the light output.
- Align the silicone diffuser with the front panel of the light.
- Gently push the diffuser onto the light until it is securely fitted.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power Key for a few seconds to turn the light on or off.
6.2 Mode Selection
Press the Mode Key to cycle through the available lighting modes:
- CCT Mode: Color Correlated Temperature (Bi-color mode).
- HSI Mode: Hue, Saturation, Intensity (RGB full-color mode).
- FX Mode: Special Effects mode.
6.3 CCT Mode Operation
In CCT mode, adjust color temperature and brightness.
- Select CCT mode using the Mode Key.
- Press the SET Key to switch between adjusting color temperature and brightness.
- Use the +/- Keys to adjust the color temperature from 2500K to 8500K.
- Use the +/- Keys to adjust brightness from 0% to 100%.

6.4 HSI Mode Operation
In HSI mode, control the full RGB spectrum.
- Select HSI mode using the Mode Key.
- Press the SET Key to switch between adjusting Hue (0-360°), Saturation (0-100L), and Brightness (0-100%).
- Use the +/- Keys to adjust the desired parameter.
6.5 FX Mode (Special Effects) Operation
The light offers 26 built-in special lighting effects.
- Select FX mode using the Mode Key.
- Use the +/- Keys to cycle through the 26 available effects (e.g., Flash, Burst, Candlelight, Police, Ambulance, TV, Firework).
- Some effects may have adjustable parameters (e.g., speed or intensity), which can be modified using the SET Key and +/- Keys.

6.6 App Control (Bluetooth)
The light supports control via a smartphone app using Bluetooth.
- Download the "weeylite" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- On the light, navigate to the Bluetooth settings (refer to the display menu).
- Enable Bluetooth and set a Group (A-F) and Channel (CH1-19).
- Open the app on your smartphone and search for the device.
- Connect to the light. You can now control all parameters remotely.

6.7 Power Bank Functionality
The VILTROX Retro 12X-12W can also function as a power bank to charge other devices.
- Ensure the light is powered on.
- Connect your smartphone or other device to the light's USB-C port using a compatible USB-C to USB-C cable.
- The light will begin discharging to charge the connected device.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To clean the light, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For the silicone diffuser, it can be gently wiped with a damp cloth if necessary.
7.2 Storage
Store the light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50% to prolong its lifespan.
8. Troubleshooting
