3. Setup Guide

3.1. Battery Installation and Charging

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset. Slide it open.
2. Connect the battery pack plug securely into the jack inside the compartment.
3. Place the 2 AAA batteries (included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.
5. Place the handset on the base unit or charger. The charging indicator light on the handset should illuminate.
6. Allow the handset to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use to ensure full battery capacity.

3.2. Connecting the Base Unit

1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
2. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
3. Plug the small end of the power adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the base unit.
4. Plug the large end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
