3. Setup
3.1 Initial Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Wash: Before first use, wash the water tank and lid with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the filter cartridge or the electronic dispensing unit with soap.
- Install Filter: Submerge the new filter cartridge in cold water for 10-15 minutes to remove any air bubbles. This is called "priming" the filter. Then, insert the filter firmly into its designated slot in the dispenser until it clicks into place.
- Charge: Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the dispenser. Charge the unit fully before first use. The power indicator light will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 30 days of use.
- First Fill & Flush: Fill the water tank with tap water. Dispense and discard the first 2-3 full tanks of filtered water. This flushes out any carbon fines or manufacturing residue from the filter and ensures optimal taste. You may notice some black carbon particles in the first few fills; this is normal and harmless.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Dispensing Water
- Ensure the dispenser is charged and the filter is properly installed.
- Place a glass or container under the dispensing spout.
- Press the one-touch button on the top of the dispenser. Water will begin to flow instantly.
- Press the button again to stop the water flow, or it will automatically stop after dispensing a certain volume (e.g., a full glass).
4.2 Refilling the Water Tank
- Lift the lid of the dispenser.
- Pour tap water directly into the designated filling area. The large opening makes refilling easy.
- Replace the lid securely.
4.3 Charging the Dispenser
- When the power indicator light signals low battery (refer to indicator guide in Section 2.2 or product packaging), connect the provided power adapter to the charging port.
- Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Allow the unit to charge fully. Charging time may vary.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Filter Replacement
The filter cartridge has an extended lifespan of approximately 200 gallons or 3 months, whichever comes first. The filter life indicator on the dispenser will alert you when it's time for a replacement.
- Empty any remaining water from the dispenser.
- Remove the old filter cartridge by gently pulling it upwards.
- Prepare the new filter cartridge by submerging it in cold water for 10-15 minutes to prime it.
- Insert the new filter firmly into the slot until it is securely seated.
- Fill the tank with water and dispense the first 2-3 full tanks to flush the new filter before consumption.
- Reset the filter life indicator (refer to product instructions for specific reset procedure, usually a long press on the filter indicator button).
5.2 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the water tank and lid with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Wipe the exterior of the dispensing unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the electronic dispensing unit in water.
- For stubborn mineral deposits, a solution of white vinegar and water can be used for soaking the tank (not the electronic parts or filter), followed by thorough rinsing.
