3. Setup

3.1 Vehicle Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the vehicle.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover using a screwdriver (not included) if necessary.
  3. Connect the 6.4V NiMH battery pack to the connector inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Place the battery pack neatly into the compartment.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover and secure it.

3.2 Remote Control Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the pistol grip remote control.
  2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.3 Charging the Vehicle Battery

The included 6.4V NiMH battery pack for the vehicle is rechargeable via the USB charging cable.

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the battery pack.
  2. Plug the USB end of the cable into a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light on the USB cable will show the charging status (refer to cable's specific indicator behavior).
  4. A full charge takes approximately 45 minutes. Do not overcharge.
  5. Once charging is complete, disconnect the battery from the USB cable and the power source.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • Vehicle: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the underside of the vehicle. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on.
  • Remote Control: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the remote control. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on.
  • Ensure both are powered on for proper pairing and operation.

4.2 Remote Control Functions

The pistol grip remote control allows for precise handling of the vehicle.

  • Trigger:
    • Pull the trigger towards you to move the vehicle forward.
    • Push the trigger away from you to move the vehicle backward.
  • Steering Wheel:
    • Turn the steering wheel to the left to steer the vehicle left.
    • Turn the steering wheel to the right to steer the vehicle right.

4.3 Driving the Vehicle

  • Place the vehicle on a flat, clear surface.
  • Ensure the vehicle and remote control are both powered on.
  • Practice controlling the vehicle's movement and steering in an open area before attempting more complex maneuvers.
  • The vehicle has a maximum speed of approximately 7.9 km/h and a control range of up to 35 meters.
  • Expected driving time per charge is approximately 20 minutes.
