5. Setup
5.1 Connecting the Telephone
- Connect one end of the coiled handset cord to the handset and the other end to the handset jack on the telephone base.
- Connect one end of the line cord to the LINE jack on the telephone base.
- Connect the other end of the line cord to your telephone wall outlet.
5.2 Desktop and Wall Mounting
The Beetel G10 is designed for both desktop placement and wall mounting, offering flexibility in installation.

For Desktop Use: Simply place the telephone on a flat, stable surface.
For Wall Mounting:
- Locate the wall mounting holes on the back of the telephone base.
- Install two screws (not provided) into the wall, spaced appropriately to match the mounting holes. Ensure the screws are securely anchored.
- Align the telephone's mounting holes with the screws and slide the phone downwards to secure it.
- Rotate the receiver holding clip on the wall mount piece upwards to securely hold the handset when mounted vertically. This prevents the handset from falling.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Making a Call
- Lift the handset.
- Listen for a dial tone.
- Dial the desired telephone number using the alphanumeric keypad.
- Wait for the call to connect.
6.2 Receiving a Call
When the telephone rings, lift the handset to answer the call.
6.3 Ringer LED Indication
The Beetel G10 features a Ringer LED Indication light that flashes when there is an incoming call, providing a visual alert in addition to the audible ring.

6.4 3-Step Ringer Volume Control
Adjust the ringer volume to your preference using the 3-step control switch located on the side or bottom of the telephone base. Options typically include High, Medium, and Low.

6.5 Alphanumeric Keypad
The telephone is equipped with a standard alphanumeric keypad for dialing numbers and entering characters if supported by network services.

6.6 Flash Function (300 msec)
The Flash button allows you to access network features such as call waiting or conference calls. Pressing the Flash button sends a brief signal to the telephone exchange, typically 300 milliseconds, to activate these services.
6.7 Tone/Pulse Dialing Mode Switchable
The telephone supports both Tone (DTMF) and Pulse dialing modes. A switch, usually located on the bottom or side of the phone, allows you to select the appropriate mode for your telephone line. Ensure the correct mode is selected for proper operation.
6.8 Pause / Redial Function
- Redial: To redial the last number called, lift the handset and press the REDIAL button.
- Pause: The PAUSE button can be used when dialing numbers that require a pause, such as accessing an external line through a PABX system. Press the PAUSE button at the required point in the dialing sequence.
7. Maintenance
- Clean the telephone surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Keep the telephone free from dust and dirt.
- Ensure cords are not tangled or pinched, which can cause damage.
