1. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1 Compatibility

3.2 App Installation

To operate the endoscope, you need to download a compatible application. The recommended application is "Xscope".

1. Search for "Xscope" in your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
2. Download and install the application.
3. Grant necessary permissions when prompted by the app to ensure full functionality.

3.3 Connecting the Endoscope

Once the app is installed and your device is compatible:

1. Open the "Xscope" application on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Plug the Type-C connector of the endoscope cable directly into your device's Type-C port.
3. The app should automatically detect the endoscope and display the live feed from the camera.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Dual Lens Functionality

The endoscope features two lenses: a front-view camera and a side-view camera. This allows for comprehensive inspection without needing to reorient the probe.

• Switch between the front and side cameras directly within the "Xscope" app interface. Look for an icon that indicates camera switching (e.g., two arrows forming a circle, or a camera icon with a directional indicator).
• The dual lenses provide a wider field of view and eliminate the need for a separate side mirror attachment.

4.2 Adjustable LED Lights

The endoscope is equipped with 8 adjustable LED lights around the camera tip to illuminate dark inspection areas.

• Locate the brightness adjustment wheel or button on the cable near the Type-C connector.
• Rotate the wheel or press the button to increase or decrease the LED light intensity to achieve optimal visibility.

4.3 Maneuvering the Semi-Rigid Cable

The 10ft semi-rigid cable is designed to be flexible yet retain its shape, allowing you to guide the camera precisely.

• Gently bend and shape the cable manually to navigate around obstacles or through narrow passages.
• The cable will hold the shape you set, providing stability during inspection.

4.4 Capturing Images and Videos

The "Xscope" app allows you to capture high-definition photos and smooth videos directly to your connected device.

• Within the app interface, locate the photo and video capture buttons.
• Tap the photo button to take a still image.
• Tap the video button to start recording; tap again to stop recording.
• Captured media will be saved to your device's gallery or a dedicated folder within the app.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Probe

The endoscope probe is IP67 waterproof, making it suitable for use in wet environments and easy to clean.

• After use, especially in dirty or wet conditions, gently wipe the camera probe with a soft, damp cloth.
• For stubborn residue, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth.
• Ensure the probe is completely dry before storage.
• Do not submerge the entire cable or the Type-C connector in water. Only the probe tip is rated IP67.

5.2 Storage

Store the endoscope in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Use the provided cable strap to keep the cable neatly coiled and prevent tangling.
