4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your pressure washer.

  1. Pre-Operation Check: Verify all fluid levels (gasoline, engine oil, burner fuel). Ensure all hoses are securely connected and free from leaks. Check the water inlet filter for cleanliness.
  2. Water Supply: Turn on the water supply completely to the pressure washer. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to purge air from the system until a steady stream of water flows out.
  3. Starting the Engine: Ensure the engine throttle is set to the 'FAST' position. Turn the ignition key to start the 13 HP Honda engine. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes.
  4. Engaging Hot Water (Burner): To activate the hot water function, ensure the burner fuel tank is adequately filled. Flip the burner switch to the 'ON' position. The burner will ignite, and hot water will be produced after a short delay.
  5. Using the Wand and Nozzles: Select the appropriate nozzle for your cleaning task. Start cleaning from a distance and gradually move closer to the surface, maintaining a safe distance to avoid damage.
  6. Chemical Injection: For chemical application, attach the soap nozzle and ensure the downstream chemical injection system is properly connected to your detergent container. The system will draw detergent at low pressure.
  7. Shutting Down: First, turn off the burner switch. Allow the system to cool down by running cold water through it for a few minutes. Then, turn off the engine ignition. Finally, turn off the water supply and squeeze the trigger to relieve any remaining pressure in the system.
