Setup

Operating Instructions
The AUTOOL AST 603 allows for efficient, one-person brake fluid exchange without the need to press the brake pedal.

- Prepare New Brake Fluid: Place the pressure balance hose and the oil suction hose into the new brake fluid bottle. Ensure the bottle is stable.
- Connect to Reservoir: Connect the filling hose to the adapter fitting, then securely attach the adapter to the vehicle's brake fluid reservoir. Ensure the machine's internal lines are purged before connecting to the vehicle.
- Connect Recovery Bottle: Connect the recovery fluid bottle (waste oil bottle) to the brake wheel cylinder bleed screw.
- Start Operation: Turn on the power switch on the AST 603. Press and hold the "START" button to begin the brake fluid exchange operation.
- Monitor Pressure: Adjust the pressure using the pressure adjustment knob as needed (0.7-2.5 bar). Monitor the pressure gauge to ensure stable operation.
- Monitor Fluid Level: The device features smart liquid level monitoring. Filling automatically stops when the new fluid bottle is empty, preventing air from entering the brake system lines.
- Drain Old Fluid: Open the bleed screw on the wheel cylinder to allow the old brake fluid to drain into the recovery bottle. Continue draining until new, clean brake fluid emerges.
- Repeat for All Wheels: Repeat the process for each wheel, typically starting with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder (e.g., rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, front driver).
- Finish Operation: Once all wheels are bled, close the bleed screws, turn off the AST 603, and disconnect all hoses.
- Check Fluid Level: Verify the brake fluid level in the vehicle's reservoir and top up if necessary.
