1. Introduction

The ZINUS True Support Hybrid Mattress is designed to offer responsive support and comfort. It features individually wrapped coils that adapt to your body shape and minimize motion transfer. A comfort foam layer provides pressure relief. This mattress is made with CertiPUR-US® certified foams and an OEKO-TEX certified cover, ensuring quality and safety.

2. Safety Information

  • Keep all plastic packaging materials away from children and pets to prevent suffocation hazards.
  • Ensure the mattress is unboxed and allowed to expand in a well-ventilated area.
  • Do not use sharp objects to open the mattress packaging, as this may damage the mattress fabric.
  • The mattress is heavy; use proper lifting techniques or seek assistance when moving the boxed or expanded mattress.

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Preparation: Place the boxed mattress in the room where it will be used. Ensure you have enough clear space around the bed frame or foundation.
  2. Unboxing: Carefully remove the mattress from its shipping box. Place the rolled mattress onto your bed frame or foundation.
  3. Unrolling: Gently cut and remove the outer plastic wrap. The mattress will begin to unroll.
  4. Expansion: Carefully cut and remove the inner plastic layer. The mattress will immediately begin to expand. Allow 24 to 72 hours for the mattress to fully expand to its original shape and firmness. Initial off-gassing odor is normal and will dissipate.

5. Usage Information

Your ZINUS True Support Hybrid Mattress is designed for optimal comfort and support. It features individually wrapped coils for customized support and reduced motion transfer, ideal for undisturbed sleep. The comfort foam layer provides pressure relief.

Mattress Cover: Your mattress may arrive with one of two distinct cover designs. Both covers provide the same supportive feel and profile height. Cover selection is not available.

Weight Capacity: This Queen size mattress can support up to 500 lbs.

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Spot Clean Only: For spills or stains, spot clean the mattress cover using a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Do not saturate the mattress. Allow to air dry completely.
  • Do Not Machine Wash: The mattress cover is not removable or machine washable.
  • Mattress Protector: Using a mattress protector is recommended to safeguard against spills, stains, and allergens, extending the life of your mattress.
  • Rotation: To promote even wear and prolong mattress life, rotate your mattress 180 degrees every 3-6 months. This mattress is not designed to be flipped.
  • Ventilation: Periodically air out your mattress by removing bedding to allow for better air circulation.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your ZINUS mattress, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Initial Odor: A new mattress may have a slight odor upon unboxing. This is normal and harmless. Allow the mattress to air out in a well-ventilated room for 24-72 hours.
  • Incomplete Expansion: Ensure the mattress has been given the full 72 hours to expand. Cooler temperatures or being left in packaging for extended periods can slow expansion. If expansion is still incomplete after 72 hours, contact customer support.
  • Discomfort: Mattress comfort is subjective. Ensure you have allowed sufficient time for your body to adjust to the new mattress.
