3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.
  2. Inspect for any shipping damage. If damage is found, contact your supplier immediately.
  3. Remove all packing materials, including any protective films or tapes.

3.2 Placement

  • Place the machine on a sturdy, level countertop capable of supporting its weight (approximately 75 pounds when empty, more when filled).
  • Ensure adequate clearance (at least 6 inches) around all sides of the machine for proper air circulation and ventilation, especially at the rear where the compressor is located.
  • Avoid placing the machine near heat sources or in direct sunlight, as this can affect cooling efficiency.
  • Ensure the electrical outlet meets the machine's specifications (115V, 60Hz, Single Phase, 3.7A).

3.3 Initial Cleaning

  • Before first use, thoroughly wash the polycarbonate bowls, lids, and dispensing components with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Filling the Bowls

  1. Ensure the machine is unplugged.
  2. Lift the lids from the polycarbonate bowls.
  3. Pour your desired beverage into each bowl. Each bowl has a capacity of 4.75 gallons (18 L). Do not overfill.
  4. Replace the lids securely.

4.2 Powering On and Dispensing

  1. Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Locate the individual power switches for each bowl (typically on the side or rear of the unit).
  3. Flip the switch(es) to the "ON" position. The machine will begin cooling and circulating the beverage.
  4. To dispense, place a cup under the dispensing lever and press the "PUSH" lever firmly. Release to stop the flow.

4.3 Independent Bowl Operation

Each bowl on the Donper D25 operates independently. This means you can have one bowl running while the other is off, or have different beverages at different temperatures (though the cooling system is shared, individual circulation can be controlled).

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your Donper D25 Drink Machine.

5.1 Daily Cleaning

  1. Unplug the machine from the power outlet.
  2. Empty any remaining beverage from the bowls.
  3. Remove the bowls, lids, and drip trays.
  4. Wash all removable parts (bowls, lids, dispensing components, drip trays) with warm, soapy water. The polycarbonate bowls are dishwasher safe.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry completely before reassembling.
  6. Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth. For stubborn spots, use a mild stainless steel cleaner.

5.2 Periodic Maintenance

  • Condenser Coil Cleaning: Periodically (e.g., monthly or quarterly, depending on usage and environment), clean the condenser coils located at the rear of the machine. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. Ensure the machine is unplugged before performing this task. This improves cooling efficiency.
  • Gasket Inspection: Check the gaskets and seals around the bowls and dispensing valves for wear or damage. Replace if necessary to prevent leaks.
