5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge the headphones. The integrated 2000mAh lithium battery provides up to 58 hours of playtime in Bluetooth mode and up to 125 hours in AUX mode.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the headphones and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter, car charger).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.

5.2 Adjusting the Fit

For optimal noise reduction and comfort, ensure the headphones fit snugly over your ears.

  1. Extend the headband by pulling the earcups downwards until they fit comfortably over your ears.
  2. Ensure the ear cushions fully enclose your ears and create a seal against your head.
  3. The padded headband should rest comfortably on top of your head.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the Power button until the display illuminates.
  • To power off: Press and hold the Power button until the display turns off.

6.2 Bluetooth Pairing

The headphones use Bluetooth 5.4 for stable wireless connection.

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered on.
  2. Press the Mode (M) button until "BT" or a Bluetooth icon appears on the display, indicating Bluetooth mode. The headphones will enter pairing mode automatically.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "PROHEAR 033" from the list of devices.
  5. Once paired, the headphones will confirm the connection.

6.3 AM/FM Radio Operation

The built-in digital tuner allows you to listen to AM and FM radio stations.

  1. Press the Mode (M) button to switch to AM or FM radio mode. The display will show the current frequency.
  2. Manual Tuning: Short press the Tune (< / >) buttons to adjust the frequency step by step.
  3. Auto-Scan: Long press the Tune (< / >) buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
  4. Preset Stations: The headphones can store up to 10 AM and 10 FM stations.
    • To save a station: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold the Mode (M) button until the preset number flashes. Use the Tune (< / >) buttons to select a preset slot, then short press M to confirm.
    • To recall a station: Short press the Mode (M) button to cycle through saved presets.

6.4 AUX Mode

Connect external audio devices using the provided AUX cable.

  1. Connect one end of the AUX cable to the AUX input jack on the headphones.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output of your external device.
  3. The headphones will automatically switch to AUX mode.

6.5 Call Functions (Bluetooth Mode)

When connected via Bluetooth, you can manage calls directly from the headphones.

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the Power button.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Power button.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the Power button.

6.6 Volume Control

Adjust the listening volume using the rotary volume knob located on the earcup.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

7.2 Ear Cushion Replacement
