4.2 Choosing Photo Type: Border or Borderless

The printer supports both border and borderless 4x6 inch prints. You can select your preferred option within the app:

  • Borderless Prints: Maximizes the image area for a modern, full-bleed appearance.

4.3 Printing Process (4PASS Technology)

The KODAK Dock ERA Plus uses 4PASS (Dye Sublimation) technology, which applies colors in successive layers (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan) and finishes with a protective laminating layer. This process ensures vibrant, long-lasting, fingerprint-proof, and water-resistant prints.

During printing, the paper will pass through the printer multiple times as each color layer is applied. Do not touch the paper until the printing and laminating process is complete.
