5. Assembly Instructions

Important Notes for Hydraulic System Activation:
- After completing the bed frame assembly, place your mattress on top of the slat system.
- Allow 15-30 minutes for the hydraulic system to settle with the mattress weight.
- To lower the bed for the first time, apply firm downward pressure. It is recommended to press down while standing in the middle of the end of the bed. Applying pressure only on the edge may not activate the mechanism correctly.
- You may need to try pressing down multiple times until the hydraulic pistons begin to compress and lower the bed.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Hydraulic Lift System
To access the under-bed storage, firmly grasp the fabric pull handle located at the foot of the bed. Lift the mattress platform upwards. The hydraulic system will assist in lifting and holding the platform in an open position. To close, gently pull the platform downwards until it rests securely on the frame.

6.2. Charging Station
The integrated charging station on the headboard provides convenient power access. Simply plug your devices into the available 2 AC outlets, 1 USB-A port, or 1 Type-C port. Ensure the bed frame is connected to a power source.
7. Maintenance
- Fabric Care: The upholstered fabric should be dry cleaned only. For minor spills, gently blot with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Frame Care: Regularly check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Tighten as needed to maintain stability and prevent noise.
- Hydraulic System: Periodically inspect the hydraulic pistons for any signs of wear or damage. If the system becomes stiff, a small amount of oil can be applied to the telescopic part of the air pressure rod.
- Charging Station: Keep the charging ports free of dust and debris. Do not overload the outlets.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1. Hydraulic System Not Lowering/Operating Smoothly
If the hydraulic system does not lower easily or seems stiff after initial assembly:
- Confirm the correct installation of the hydraulic rods. The thicker part should face upwards.
- Ensure the mattress is placed on the bed frame. The system requires the weight of the mattress to function correctly.
- Allow 15-30 minutes after placing the mattress for the system to settle.
- Apply firm downward pressure, standing in the middle of the foot end of the bed. Avoid pressing only on the edges.
- Repeat the downward pressure multiple times if necessary until the pistons begin to compress.
- If issues persist, contact customer support.
8.2. Squeaking Noises
If the bed frame produces squeaking noises:
- Check all assembly bolts and screws and tighten them securely.
- Ensure the wooden slats are properly seated in their designated positions.
- The bed frame is designed with EVA material for noise immunity; however, loose connections can cause sound.
