1. Setup Guide

This section provides instructions for setting up your GAOMON PD1561 drawing tablet for the first time.

1.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present and undamaged. The package should include the PD1561 tablet, AP50 battery-free pen, pen holder with 8 replacement nibs, a 3-in-1 cable, a pre-applied screen film, and 2-finger gloves.

1.2 Connecting the Tablet

The PD1561 utilizes a convenient 3-in-1 cable to minimize clutter. Connect the USB, HDMI, and power cables from the 3-in-1 cable to your computer and a power source. For desktop computers, ensure the HDMI cable is plugged directly into your graphics card, not the motherboard, for optimal performance.

3. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the lifespan of your GAOMON PD1561 tablet.

3.1 Cleaning the Screen and Body

To clean the screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can damage the pre-applied screen film or the tablet's surface. For the tablet body, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient.

3.2 Protecting the Screen

The PD1561 comes with a pre-applied screen film designed to protect the surface and provide a paper-like drawing experience. Avoid pressing too hard with the pen or using sharp objects on the screen. If the film becomes damaged or worn, contact GAOMON support for replacement options.

3.3 Pen Nibs

Regularly check the pen nib for wear. Worn nibs can scratch the screen film or affect drawing accuracy. Replace nibs as needed using the provided replacement nibs and the nib removal tool.

4. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your GAOMON PD1561 tablet.

4.1 No Display/Signal

  • Ensure all cables (HDMI, USB, Power) are securely connected to both the tablet and your computer.
  • If using a desktop computer, verify that the HDMI cable is connected directly to your graphics card's output, not the motherboard's integrated graphics port.
  • Check your computer's display settings to ensure the tablet is detected and set to 'Extend' or 'Duplicate' display mode.

4.2 Pen Not Responding/No Pressure Sensitivity

  • Verify that the GAOMON driver is correctly installed and running. Try reinstalling the latest driver from the official website.
  • Ensure there are no other tablet drivers installed on your system that might conflict with the GAOMON driver.
  • Test the pen in different drawing applications to see if the issue is software-specific.
  • Check if the pen nib is properly seated or needs replacement.

4.3 Shortcut Keys Not Working
