1. Warranty & Compatibility & Specification of M10K PRO
1.1 Warranty Policy
GAOMON offers a 1-year warranty for non-human-made damages or accident damages. This includes issues like broken screens or lost accessories. GAOMON also provides lifespan tech support. For assistance, contact the GAOMON After-sales service team at service@GAOMON.net.
1.2 Operation System & Art Program Compatibility
1.2.1 OS Compatibility
The GAOMON M10K PRO Pen Tablet requires connection to a computer. It is compatible with:
- Windows 7 or above
- Mac OS 10.12 or above
It is not compatible with Chrome OS or Linux OS.
For compatibility with smart phones, it requires Android OS 6.0 or later with OTG function. The tablet can be connected directly without installing a driver on the smart phone. iOS compatibility is not available at present.
For Windows or Mac OS, drivers can be downloaded from GAOMON.net.

1.2.2 Art Program Compatibility
The tablets are compatible with most drawing software, including:
- Free software: Krita, Gimp, Fireplaca, Meidibang, Inscape, Blender, etc.
- Paid software: Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, Sketchbook, Sai version2, etc.

2. How to set up M10K PRO ?
2.1 How to connect to computer?
Connect the GAOMON M10K PRO to your computer using the provided USB cable.

2.2 How to connect to Android smart phone?
- Use your Android phone/tablet in portrait mode.
- Ensure your phone/tablet OS is Android OS 6.0 or later and supports OTG function.
- Some models may require enabling "OTG" in the phone or tablet's "Settings".
- You might need a USB adapter (e.g., Type-C to USB or Micro USB to USB adapter) depending on your device's USB port type.

2.3 How to set up on Windows OS?
- Close all art programs and anti-virus programs before installation. Ensure no anti-virus programs are running in the background.
- Download the driver from GAOMON.net and install it.
- Install the driver by right-clicking the setup file (ending in '.exe') and selecting 'Run as administrator'.
- Do not change the installation path during installation. Ensure sufficient free space on your drive (e.g., Local Disk C:).
- Ensure the USB cable is connected securely.
- After installation, test if the pen cursor moves normally like a mouse. If it does, you can customize express keys within the GAOMON Driver.
- Download and use drawing programs compatible with the GAOMON M10K PRO. The tablets are compatible with most drawing software, including free options like Krita, Gimp, Fireplaca, Meidibang, Inscape, Blender, and paid options like Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, Sketchbook, and Sai version2.

2.4 How to set up on Mac OS?
- Close all art programs first.
- Download the driver from GAOMON.net.
- Install the driver: Drag the 'GAOMONTablet' icon to the 'Applications' folder. Then, double-click 'GAOMONTablet' and select 'Open' to run the driver.
- For macOS 10.14, 10.15, Big Sur, or later: You need to grant GAOMON Driver permission.
- After installation, press an express key or click the screen with the pen. An 'Accessibility Access' prompt will appear. Click 'Open System Preferences' to go to 'Security & Privacy'.
- Click the lock icon ? and enter your password. Tick 'TabletDriverAgent' and click '+' to add it.
- Go to Applications, find 'GAOMONTablet', and click 'Open'.
- Tick 'GaomonTablet' (circled in red) and click the lock icon ? to save changes. This allows you to draw freely on the tablet.
- For macOS versions lower than 10.14: Skip the above permission steps.
- Replug all cables correctly and firmly.
- After installing the GAOMON Driver, test if the pen cursor moves normally. If it does, you can customize express keys in the GAOMON Driver.
- Download and use drawing programs compatible with the GAOMON M10K PRO. The tablets are compatible with most drawing software, including free options like Krita, Gimp, Fireplaca, Meidibang, Inscape, Blender, and paid options like Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, Sketchbook, and Sai version2.

2.5 Windows Radial /Dial Function
1.Windows Radial
The Ring is compatible with the Windows Radial Controller Protocol and is enabled by default. No additional activation is needed.
Long-press the key in the center of the Dial Controller to bring up a tool menu. Users can use the Dial Controller to adjust brush size, pick colors, and scroll through pages.

2. Wheel mode
Uncheck the "Enable Wheel" option to activate Dial Mode. Pressing the middle button cycles through three groups of functions displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Default settings include: Canvas Zoom in/out, Brush Zoom in/out, Scroll up/down.

3. Pen Issues & Solutions
3.1 How to do when GAOMON driver indicating "No Device Detected/Device disconnected" and Pen not Working?
- Check the USB connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected between the M10K PRO and the computer.
- Try a different USB port on your computer.
- Test on another computer without the GAOMON Driver installed to see if the pen cursor moves.
- If the issue persists, record a video demonstrating the problem when using a different computer and send it to GAOMON SERVICE. They will assist with warranty claims and resolutions.
3.2 How to do when the issue only happens in Clip Studio Paint?
- In Clip Studio Paint, navigate to: Preference > Tablet > Wintab.
- Set Preference > Performance > Allocate to application to 100%.
- If the issue continues, try reinstalling the GAOMON Driver. Ensure no other brands' tablet drivers are installed on your computer.
3.3 How to do when the issue only happens in GIMP?
- In GIMP, navigate to: Edit > Input Devices > Mode. Select "Screen" for all three options and Save.
- If the issue persists, try reinstalling the GAOMON Driver. Ensure no other brands' tablet drivers are installed on your computer.
3.4 How to do when the pen only lags in Photoshop?
- Try reinstalling the GAOMON Driver. Ensure no other brands' tablet drivers are installed on your computer.
- In Photoshop, navigate to: Edit > Preference > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor".
- Create a new canvas and zoom in to 100%.
- Click "Reset Brushes" in the brush settings.

3.5 How to calibrate pen cursor?
- Set your computer to Duplicate Mode or Mirror Mode and test if the issue persists.
- Windows OS: Press "Windows key + P", then choose "Duplicate".
- Mac OS: Go to System Preference > Displays > Click "Arrangement" > Click "Mirror Displays".
- If the issue persists in Duplicate/Mirror mode, try calibrating within the GAOMON Driver:
- Hold the pen more vertically during calibration. Avoid tilting the pen excessively.
- If the cursor does not align as desired, try clicking "restore default" and then proceed with calibration, ignoring the red points.
- If the issue still occurs, contact GAOMON SERVICE via email.
4. Other
4.1 How to customize express key functions in GAOMON driver?
Express keys on the GAOMON tablet can be customized to function as keyboard shortcuts. If a keyboard key performs a function in a drawing program, the tablet's express keys can be set to do the same. For example, assigning the key "e" to an express key in GAOMON Driver can perform the "eraser" function in Photoshop.
4.1.1 How to set up express keys in a drawing programs
- Open the desired art program (e.g., Krita). The program should appear in the upper right corner of the GAOMON Driver interface.
- If the program is not listed, click "Add a Program" and find it.
- Go to the "Pen Tablet" interface and click "Express Key" to begin customizing hotkeys.
- Click the icon next to an express key to delete its default settings. Then, press the desired key or key combination on your keyboard to assign it.
- Remember to select "Enable Express Keys" after setting them up.

4.1.2 How to set up express keys in other different drawing programs
To set express key functions for other programs like Photoshop, open the program first, then select it from the dropdown list in the upper right corner of the GAOMON driver. You can then configure the express keys as described above.

4.1.3 How to Export & Import express key file when changing a computer to use
To save time when switching to a new computer, you can export and import your express key settings. This avoids reconfiguring all express keys for different drawing programs.
In the "Settings" interface of the GAOMON driver, you will find three buttons: 'Export', 'Import', and 'Default'.
- Export: Saves your current Express Key shortcuts as a file.
- Import: Loads saved shortcut settings from a file into the GAOMON driver.
- Default: Recovers Express Keys to their default settings.

- To set up shortcuts, click the 'Export' button. A 'save as' dialog box will appear. Type a name (e.g., "Krita Express Keys") into the 'File name' box and click 'save'. This will save your Express Key shortcuts as a file (e.g., Krita Express Keys.xml).
- After finishing work in one program (e.g., Krita) and switching to another (e.g., Photoshop), you will need to set up shortcuts for Photoshop. Remember to save these settings as a file, for example, "Photoshop Express Keys".
- When moving to a new computer, you can import your saved express key settings. Click the "Import" button, browse to the saved file (e.g., Krita Express Keys.xml), and click 'Open'. Your GAOMON driver's Express Keys will now reflect the imported settings.

4.2 How to sign/write on Microsoft office files: Word/Excel/PowerPoint /OneNote?
The GAOMON M10K PRO allows you to write, sign, and annotate on Microsoft Office files as if using a real pen on paper. The following steps are based on Microsoft Office 2016, but are similar in other versions.
4.2.1 In Word
How to draw with digital pen in the comment area of Word file:
- Connect the GAOMON M10K PRO to your computer.
- Open the Word document you wish to edit.
- Click the 'Review' tab. Use the tablet pen to control the cursor.
- Find the 'Ink' icon (a pen shape tool with a star). In Office 2016, there are three related icons: 'ink comment' (to add a new comment), 'pen style and color' (to change pen appearance), and 'ink comment eraser'.
- Click 'ink comment'. A comment box will appear on the right side, where you can draw freely with the tablet pen.
How to highlight and sign your name on Word file:
- After connecting the M10K PRO, open the Word document.
- Click 'Review' and then click 'Start Inking'.
- Tips: The wider pen acts as a highlighter, while the narrower pen is for drawing. You can use these to highlight text or add underlines.

4.2.2 In Excel
- Connect the GAOMON M10K PRO to your computer and open the Excel file.
- Click the 'Review' tab and then click 'Start Inking' to draw on the Excel file with the digital pen.
- Please Note: Drawings made with 'Start Inking' may disappear if 'Show Ink' is clicked. Re-clicking 'Show Ink' will make them reappear.

4.2.3 In OneNote
- Connect the GAOMON M10K PRO to your computer and open OneNote.
- Use the GAOMON pen to draw freely. The 'Draw' tab allows you to adjust the pen and color.

4.2.4 In PowerPoint
- Connect the GAOMON M10K PRO to your computer and open PowerPoint.
- Click the 'Review' tab and then click 'Start Inking' to draw on PowerPoint slides.

4.3 How to Comment, Highlight and Sign/Draw on PDF (Acrobat Reader DC)?
The following steps apply to Acrobat Reader DC. Steps are similar in other PDF programs.
4.3.1 How to sign/write on PDF?
- Ensure the cable is connected properly.
- Open Acrobat Reader DC and the PDF file you want to sign.
- Click 'Tools', then find and open the 'Fill & Sign' option.
- Click the 'Sign' item, then choose 'Add Signature'.
- Click 'Draw', then use the GAOMON stylus to write your signature. Click 'Apply' to save it. Note: 'Clear' erases the signature.
- The signature can be placed anywhere in the PDF after saving. Select 'Sign', click the desired location, and the signature will appear.

4.3.2 How to use GAOMON tablet to draw, comment on or highlight PDF files
- Connect the M10K PRO to your computer and open Acrobat Reader DC.
- Click 'Tools', then find and open 'Comment'.
- Click 'Draw free form' (marked as '3') to draw.
- Select color and line thickness from the icons (marked as '4').
- Click the pen icon inside the red circle to highlight content.

4.4 How to use Left-hand Mode
If you are left-handed, you can set up left-hand mode to use the M10K PRO comfortably.
Set up left-hand mode:
- Flip the tablet's orientation by 180 degrees in the driver settings: Open the driver > Work Area > choose 180 degree.
- Turn the GAOMON tablet 180 degrees physically so that the shortcut keys are on your right side.
