Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all contents from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the 'What’s in the Box' section are present.
- Placement: Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) from any walls and 3 feet (0.9 m) from any furniture or appliances. Do not place directly on carpet or rugs.
- Demineralization Cartridge: If using the included demineralization cartridge, ensure it is properly installed according to the separate instructions provided with the cartridge.
- Filling the Tank: Remove the top cover of the humidifier. Fill the 0.97-gallon tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not fill past the MAX fill line. Replace the top cover securely.
Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Plug the humidifier into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Press the power button to turn the unit ON. The unit will start misting at the lowest setting. Press the power button again to turn OFF.
- Mist Control: Rotate the mist control knob to adjust the mist output from low to high. The 360-degree nozzle allows you to direct the mist in any desired direction.
- Aromatherapy: Locate the essential oil tray on the side of the humidifier. Pull out the tray and add 5-7 drops of your favorite essential oil onto one of the included essential oil pads. Insert the tray back into the humidifier. The aroma will diffuse with the mist.
- Night-Light: Press the night-light button to turn the soft glow night-light ON or OFF.
- Auto-Off Protection: The humidifier is equipped with an automatic shutoff feature that will turn off the unit when the water level is too low. The indicator light will illuminate to signal that the tank needs refilling.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and mold growth.
- Daily Maintenance: Empty the water tank and rinse thoroughly. Wipe the inside of the tank and base with a soft, damp cloth.
- Weekly Cleaning: To remove scale and mineral buildup, use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Pour the mixture into the water tank and let it soak for 20 minutes. Gently scrub the inside surfaces with a soft brush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Demineralization Cartridge: Replace the demineralization cartridge every 30-40 fillings, depending on water hardness. Refer to the cartridge instructions for specific replacement guidelines.
- Essential Oil Pads: Replace essential oil pads when the aroma diminishes or when changing essential oil types.
