IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Ensure you have sufficient space for installation. The overall speaker size is 8.5" L x 2.75" Diameter. Mounting hardware with stem is 5.5" L.
- This product is designed to be water-resistant (IP56). While it can withstand splashes and light rain, it should not be submerged in water.
- Always ensure proper wiring connections (Red to Positive, Black to Negative) to prevent damage to the unit or your vehicle's electrical system.

Product Overview
The GoHawk RD8-X is a compact and powerful audio system designed for powersports vehicles. It features a full-body aluminum housing for durability and advanced IP56 water resistance. The system integrates two high-performance 2.5" full-range speakers and a 300W peak power amplifier. A hidden LED display shows FM radio frequency and mode functions.

Setup
Mounting
The GoHawk RD8-X is designed for handlebar mounting. The mounting clamps support handlebar sizes from 7/8" to 1.25". The overall 5.5" long mounting hardware allows for horizontal and vertical adjustment to fit various handlebar shapes.
- Select a suitable position on your handlebar that does not obstruct your view or control of the vehicle.
- Attach the mounting clamps to the handlebar.
- Secure the speaker soundbar to the mounting stems using the provided hardware.
- Adjust the angle of the soundbar for optimal sound projection and visibility of the LED display.

Wiring
The system comes with all necessary wiring for easy installation. It requires a standard 12V power connection.
- Connect the included 78" long SAE to Ring Terminal Power Cable to your vehicle's 12V power source.
- Connect the Red wire to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- Connect the Black wire to the negative (-) terminal or a suitable ground point on your vehicle's chassis.
- Plug the SAE connector into the corresponding port on the speaker soundbar.
- Connect the external antenna to the SMA connector on the unit for improved FM radio reception.

Operating Instructions
The GoHawk RD8-X features a backlit 4-button design for easy navigation of system functions.
Power On/Off
- Press and hold the Power button (⏻) to turn the unit on or off.
Mode Selection
- Short press the Power button (⏻) to cycle through available modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, and AUX.
Bluetooth Pairing
The system supports Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless music streaming.
- Ensure the unit is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated on the LED display).
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for available Bluetooth devices.
- Select "GoHawk RD8-X" from the list to pair. A confirmation tone will sound upon successful connection.
- The Bluetooth transmission range is up to 15 meters.
FM Radio
The built-in FM radio allows you to listen to your favorite stations.
- Ensure the external antenna is connected for optimal reception.
- Switch to FM Radio mode. The LED display will show the current frequency.
- Use the Previous (⏮) and Next (⏭) buttons to tune to different stations.
USB Playback
The unit supports music playback from a USB drive.
- Insert a USB drive containing audio files into the USB port.
- Switch to USB mode. The unit will automatically begin playing music from the drive.
- Use the Previous (⏮) and Next (⏭) buttons to skip tracks.
- Note: The USB port does not support charging.
AUX Input
Connect external audio devices using the 3.5mm AUX-in jack.
- Connect your audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX-in port using the provided AUX cable.
- Switch to AUX mode. Audio from your connected device will now play through the speakers.
Volume Control
- Long-press the + button to increase volume.
- Long-press the - button to decrease volume.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the unit. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: The RD8-X is IP56 water-resistant. While it can withstand splashes, avoid direct high-pressure water jets or prolonged submersion. Ensure all ports are properly sealed when not in use.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from the power source and store it in a cool, dry place.
