4.2 Setting up Remote Sensors
- Open the battery compartment on each remote sensor.
- Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) into each sensor, observing polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
- To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit on the sensor, use a needle or small pointed object to press the C/F switch located inside the battery compartment.

4.3 Initial Synchronization
Place the main unit and all remote sensors close to each other during initial setup. The main unit will automatically search for and connect to the sensors. This process may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity readings will appear on the main display.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Time and Date Setting
Refer to the user manual for specific button presses to enter time and date setting mode. Typically, a "SET" or "MODE" button is used to cycle through settings (Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute) and arrow buttons to adjust values.
5.2 Alarm Settings
The weather station supports dual alarms. Press the "ALARM" button to view or set Alarm 1 and Alarm 2. Use the adjustment buttons to set the desired alarm times. The snooze function provides an 8-minute delay.

5.3 Weather Forecast Setting
The weather station provides a manually calibrated weather forecast. You can set the weather icon to reflect current or expected conditions (sunny, lightly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, heavy rainy, snowy). The device uses barometric pressure changes to predict weather trends, but manual adjustment allows for greater accuracy based on local observations.

5.4 Temperature/Humidity Display
The main unit displays indoor temperature and humidity, along with readings from the three remote sensors. You can switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) display units on the main unit by pressing the designated button (usually labeled C/F or similar).
5.5 Minimum/Maximum Records
The weather station automatically records the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity values over the past 24 hours. Press the "MAX/MIN" button to view these records. Press again to clear them.

5.6 Backlight Adjustment
When the main unit is powered by the AC adapter, the backlight can be adjusted to 5 different levels (OFF, DIM, LOW, SLIGHTLY LOW, HIGH). Use the "LIGHT" or "SNZ/LIGHT" button to cycle through the brightness levels.

6. Placement
Both the main unit and the remote sensors offer flexible placement options. They can be placed on a tabletop using their integrated stands or mounted on a wall using the keyhole slots on the back.
- Main Unit: Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, or offices where you want to easily view the display.
- Remote Sensors: Suitable for children's rooms, gardens, greenhouses, backyards, garages, basements, or any other location where you need to monitor temperature and humidity. Ensure sensors are placed within the 200ft/60m transmission range and away from direct sunlight or extreme weather conditions for accurate readings.

7. Maintenance
- Clean the display and unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Replace batteries in both the main unit and remote sensors when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings.
- Ensure remote sensors are protected from direct rain and snow, even though they are designed for outdoor use.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit. | No power, incorrect battery installation, or dead batteries. | Check AC adapter connection. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with correct polarity. Replace batteries if necessary. |
| Outdoor readings not displayed or inaccurate. | Sensor out of range, low sensor battery, interference, or sensor not synchronized. | Move sensor closer to the main unit. Replace sensor batteries. Avoid placing near large metal objects or electronics. Re-synchronize by removing batteries from both units, then reinserting batteries into the sensor first, then the main unit. |
| Time is incorrect. | Time not set manually or time signal not received (if applicable). | Manually set the time and date as per section 5.1. |
| Backlight not staying on. | Unit is running on battery power only. | Connect the AC power adapter for continuous backlight. |
