This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Narpult Smart Lock. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety.
2. Product Overview
The Narpult Smart Lock is a keyless entry electronic deadbolt designed for front doors, featuring a touchscreen keypad and multiple unlocking methods. It offers enhanced security and convenience for your home or property.
2.1 Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning installation:
- Smart Lock (Exterior Keypad and Interior Assembly)
- 4 IC Cards
- 2 Mechanical Keys

3. Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully for a successful installation. A cross screwdriver is the only tool required.
3.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Door Thickness: Ensure your door thickness is between 1-3/8" to 2" (35mm to 55mm).
- Adjustable Latch: The door latch is adjustable to 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset (60mm to 70mm).

3.2 Step-by-Step Installation
- Install the Latch: Insert the latch into the door edge. Ensure the "up" marking on the latch is facing upwards. Secure it with screws.

Ensure the latch is oriented correctly with the 'up' marking facing the top of the door.
- Prepare the Keypad: Attach the mounting screws to the keypad assembly.
- Install the Cylinder: Insert the cylinder into the keypad assembly and secure it.
- Install the Keypad: Feed the wire from the keypad through the square hole in the mounting plate and then through the door. Position the keypad on the exterior side of the door, ensuring the cylinder aligns with the latch.
- Install the Mounting Plate: Place the mounting plate on the interior side of the door, aligning it with the keypad. Secure it with screws, ensuring the wire passes through the designated square hole.
- Connect the Interior Plate: Connect the wire from the keypad to the interior plate. Carefully tuck the wire into the designated channel to avoid pinching.
- Install the Interior Plate: Mount the interior plate onto the mounting plate, ensuring the spindle engages with the latch mechanism. Secure with screws.
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery cover on the interior assembly and insert 4 AAA batteries (not included), observing polarity. Close the cover.
- Test Operation: Test the interior knob and exterior keypad to ensure smooth operation of the deadbolt.

4. Operation
4.1 Unlocking Methods
Your Narpult Smart Lock offers five convenient ways to unlock your door:
- Fingerprint: The lock recognizes your fingerprint in approximately 1 second with high accuracy. Up to 50 fingerprints can be stored.
- Passcode: Use the touchscreen keypad to enter a permanent, timed, one-time, custom, or recurring passcode. Up to 50 permanent codes can be stored, with unlimited temporary codes generated via the app.
- IC Card: Tap one of the included IC cards to unlock. The lock supports up to 50 IC cards.
- Mechanical Key: Use the provided physical keys for traditional unlocking.
- APP Control: Control your lock via the TTlock App using Bluetooth. For remote control and voice control (Alexa/Google Assistant), a G2 Wi-Fi Gateway (sold separately) is required.

4.2 Smart Features
- Auto-Lock & One-Touch Locking: You can set the lock to automatically lock after 5-900 seconds. This feature provides convenience and peace of mind.
- Anti-Peeping Code: To prevent others from observing your passcode, you can enter random digits before or after your actual code. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence.
- Wrong Code Entry Limit: After 4 unsuccessful attempts at entering an invalid PIN code, the keypad will lock for 5 minutes to prevent unauthorized access.
- Silent Mode: The lock sound can be muted via the TTlock App, allowing for quiet operation when pressing the keypad.
- Passage Mode: In passage mode, the lock will remain unlocked, allowing free entry and exit without requiring a code or credential. This is useful for parties or when frequent access is needed.
- Interior Knob Unlocking: The interior knob allows for quick and easy manual unlocking from inside.

5. Power Management
The Narpult Smart Lock is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included), providing a long-lasting power supply for at least 6 months under normal use.
- Low Battery Alert: The lock will provide an alert when the battery level drops below 20%, indicating it's time to replace the batteries.
- Emergency Charging (Type-C): In case of complete battery depletion, the lock features a Type-C port for emergency power, allowing you to temporarily power the lock and gain access.

6. Troubleshooting
- App Not Finding/Connecting to Lock: Before pairing, touch the keypad to activate the lock. If the app still cannot find or connect to the lock, please reset the lock.
- Lock and Unlock Reversed: If the lock and unlock functions are reversed after installation, please re-set the door opening direction within the TTlock App settings.
- Keypad Locking After Wrong Passcode: This is a security feature. If an incorrect passcode is entered 4 times, the keypad will lock for 5 minutes to prevent further attempts.

8. Maintenance

- Cleaning: Wipe the lock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the low battery alert is triggered. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
- Environmental Conditions: While the lock is IP63 rated for water resistance, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions should be minimized.
