  3. Placement: Place the waffle maker on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  4. Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare perfect Belgian waffles:

  1. Preheat: Close the waffle maker and plug it in. The red indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the appliance is preheating. Wait until the green indicator light illuminates, indicating the waffle maker has reached the optimal cooking temperature.
  2. Prepare Batter: While the waffle maker preheats, prepare your favorite Belgian waffle batter.
  3. Pour Batter: Open one side of the waffle maker. Pour approximately 1 cup of batter onto the center of the lower waffle plate. Close the lid.
  4. Rotate: Immediately rotate the waffle maker 180 degrees using the cool-touch handle. This ensures even distribution of batter and uniform cooking.
  5. Cook: The indicator light will turn red again as cooking begins. Once the green indicator light illuminates, the waffle is ready. Cooking time may vary based on batter consistency and desired crispness.
  6. Repeat for Second Waffle: If making a second waffle, open the other side of the waffle maker and repeat steps 3-5.
  7. Remove Waffles: Once cooked, carefully open the waffle maker and remove the waffles using a non-metallic utensil to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
  8. Unplug: After use, unplug the waffle maker from the outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your waffle maker.

  1. Cool Down: Always ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
  2. Clean Waffle Plates: Wipe the non-stick cooking plates with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, a small amount of cooking oil can be applied to soften it before wiping. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
  3. Clean Drip Tray: Remove the drip tray and wash it in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinserting.
  4. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the waffle maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  5. Storage: Store the waffle maker in a clean, dry place.

  • Waffles sticking: Ensure plates are clean and lightly greased if necessary (though non-stick, a little oil can help). Do not use too much batter.
  • Waffles not cooking evenly: Ensure the waffle maker is properly preheated before adding batter. Rotate the unit 180 degrees immediately after pouring batter to distribute it evenly.
  • Indicator lights not working: Check if the appliance is properly plugged in and powered on. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
