2. Setup and Assembly

2.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2.2 Initial Assembly Steps
- Attach the handlebars: Securely fasten the handlebars to the fork stem. Ensure they are aligned and tightened properly to prevent movement during operation.
- Install the front wheel (if detached): Follow the instructions to correctly mount the front wheel, ensuring all nuts and bolts are securely tightened.

3. Operating the Dirt Bike
The Hiboy DK1 is designed for an engaging and safe riding experience with its powerful motor and adjustable speed settings.
3.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the bike, press the 'On/Off' button located on the handlebar. To power off, press and hold the 'On/Off' button until the bike shuts down. The throttle-mounted LED display indicates battery power.

3.2 Speed Modes
The Hiboy DK1 features three selectable speed modes to accommodate different skill levels and environments:
- Low Speed: 5.0 mph (8 km/h) - Ideal for beginners and confined spaces.
- Medium Speed: 7.5 mph (12 km/h) - Suitable for intermediate riders.
- High Speed: 15.5 mph (25 km/h) - For experienced riders in open areas.
The speed mode can be adjusted using the shift button, typically located near the battery compartment or on the frame.

3.3 Braking System

3.4 Headlight Operation
The Hiboy DK1 features an IPX5 190LUX LED headlight, providing illumination for riding in low-light conditions. The headlight can be activated via a switch on the handlebar. The effective irradiation distance is approximately 16.4 feet, enhancing safety during evening rides.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Hiboy DK1 Electric Dirt Bike.
4.1 Battery Care and Charging
The bike is powered by a rechargeable 36V sealed lithium battery system. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours and provides up to 90 minutes of ride time (tested on 88.2 lbs weight/9.3 mph). The battery is designed for approximately 800 charging cycles.
- Always use the original charger provided with the bike.
- Do not over-discharge the battery. Charge it regularly, even if the bike is not in use for extended periods.
- Store the bike and battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If the bike will not be used for a long time, charge the battery to about 50-70% before storage and recharge every 2-3 months.
