Setup and Installation

1. Unboxing and Components

Before you begin, ensure all components are present:

2. Physical Assembly

1. Separate Components: Lift the food storage container from the main unit by pressing the PUSH buttons on both sides.
2. Attach Food Bowl: Place the stainless steel food bowl into its designated groove on the main unit.
3. Prepare Lid: Press backwards the lid release button, then lift and remove the lid from the food storage container.
4. Insert Desiccant: Open the desiccant compartment on the underside of the lid. Insert the provided desiccant packet and close the compartment securely.
5. Fill Hoppers: Respectively add your two types of pet food into the dual-hopper compartments as per your feeding needs.
6. Secure Lid: Align the backside of the lid with the two holes on the food storage container and insert it. Press the front side of the lid until the stopper makes a "Click" sound, indicating it's securely closed.

3. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into the bottom of the main unit. Ensure the cable is routed correctly to prevent tripping hazards.

4. App Setup and Network Connection

The PETKIT app is essential for controlling your feeder. Please ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and the PETKIT App has Bluetooth permission before proceeding.

1. Open the PETKIT app on your smartphone.
2. Click the "+" icon at the top right corner on its home page.
3. Select "PETKIT YUMSHARE DUAL-HOPPER WITH CAMERA" from the device list.
4. Choose a valid 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5G Wi-Fi is not supported), enter the correct password, and click Next.
5. The app will begin connecting with the device. Follow any on-screen prompts.
6. Once configuration is successful, click Next.
7. Customize your device name as desired.
8. After reading the on-screen instructions, click "Start Using" to complete the connection.

Operation

1. Scheduled and Manual Feeding

The dual hopper allows for separate feeding plans for different food types or multiple pets. You can set up to 10 meals per day, with 1-10 portions per meal in each hopper.

• App Control: Use the PETKIT app to set personalized feeding plans and schedules for each hopper with precise portion control.
• Manual Dispense: Long press the lateral food dispense button on the main unit (Hopper 01 or 02) to deliver food manually. Release your hand to stop dispensing.

2. Camera and Interaction Features

• 1080P HD Camera: Watch your pets anytime, anywhere with 1080P high resolution and a 140° wide viewing angle. The night vision feature allows for clear viewing in low light.
• AI Life Recording: The AI-powered camera captures cute and funny moments throughout the day, presenting them as pictures. You can download and share these highlights.
• Two-Way Audio & Meal Call: Use the built-in microphone and speaker to interact with your pets in real-time. Record a voice message (within 20 seconds) that will play automatically during dispensing to call your pets for mealtime.
• Privacy Protection: Control camera operation time and voice recording via the app. An indicator light on the feeder shows camera status.

3. Device Status Alerts

The PETKIT app provides pop-up notifications for important device statuses, including:

• Food shortage
• Power failure
• Pet detected (AI motion detection)

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene for your pet. Before cleaning, ensure the food storage container is emptied and the device is unplugged.

1. Disassemble:
   • Lift and remove the food storage container from the main unit by pressing the PUSH buttons on both sides.
   • Remove the stainless steel food bowl.
   • Press backwards the lid release button, lift and remove the lid. Open the desiccant compartment and take out the used desiccant packet.
   • Vertically pull out the hopper partition.
   • Pull out the food dispense paddles.
   • Invert the food storage container. Clockwise rotate the food dispense module to take it out.
   • Remove the turbine wheel from the food dispense module. Peel off any silica gel attached to the turbine wheel.
2. Clean Components: Rinse all disassembled components (food storage container, lid, hopper partition, food dispense paddles, food dispense module, turbine wheel, stainless steel food bowl) under running water. Slightly wipe clean the main unit with a damp cloth (do not submerge).
3. Dry Thoroughly: After cleaning, all parts must be completely dried or wiped dry before re-assembly to prevent moisture damage.
4. Re-assemble:
   • Install the turbine wheel bracket, ensuring the silica gel is wrapped in place.
   • Align the red arrow on the turbine wheel with the red line direction on the food dispense module. Tuck the turbine wheel into the bottom of the container.
   • Put vertically the module cover down to the bottom and rotate counterclockwise until hearing a "Click".
   • Install the paddles back into the container, ensuring the part aligns with the slots. Press down to make sure the re-installation is in place without wobbling.
   • Align the raised edge trim of the partition with the slot on the back of the container. Ensure the partition is flush with the slot.
   • Open the desiccant compartment and put in a new desiccant packet. Reassemble the lid.
   • Press the PUSH buttons on both sides to reinstall the container onto the main unit.
   • Put back the stainless steel food bowl.
