1. Volume Knob / Power Switch: Rotate to adjust volume. Press and hold to power on/off.
2. Previous Track / FM Scan: Short press for previous track. In FM mode, short press to switch stations. Long press to auto-scan FM stations.
3. Play/Pause / Mode Switch / Answer Call: Short press to play/pause. Double press to switch modes (Bluetooth/TF/USB/AUX/FM). Short press to answer/end calls.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the back of the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 7 hours.

4.2 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Volume Knob / Power Switch for a few seconds to turn the speaker on or off. A voice prompt will indicate the current mode.

5. Operating Modes

The speaker supports multiple playback modes. Double press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button to cycle through the available modes: Bluetooth, TF Card, USB, AUX, and FM Radio.

5.1 Bluetooth Mode

1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a voice prompt).
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
3. Search for "J-999" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
4. Once paired, a voice prompt will confirm the connection. You can now play audio from your device.
5. Use the Previous Track, Play/Pause, and Next Track buttons on the speaker to control playback.

5.2 TF Card / USB Mode

1. Insert a TF (Micro SD) card or a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the respective slot on the back of the speaker.
2. The speaker will automatically switch to TF Card or USB mode and begin playing audio. If it doesn't, double press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button until the correct mode is announced.
3. Use the Previous Track, Play/Pause, and Next Track buttons to control playback.

5.3 AUX Mode

1. Connect one end of the provided AUX cable to the AUX input port on the speaker and the other end to the audio output jack of your external device.
2. Double press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button until the speaker announces "AUX Mode".
3. Play audio from your external device. Volume can be adjusted on both the speaker and the external device.

5.4 FM Radio Mode

1. Connect the AUX cable to the AUX input port. This cable acts as the FM antenna.
2. Double press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button until the speaker announces "FM Mode".
3. Auto-Scan Stations: Long press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
4. Switch Stations: Short press the Previous Track or Next Track buttons to navigate through the saved stations.

5.5 Hands-free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone:

1. Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button when an incoming call rings.
2. End Call: Short press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button during a call to hang up.
3. Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause / Mode Switch button to reject an incoming call.

Poor FM Radio Reception

• Perform an auto-scan again to find stronger stations.
