Instruction Manual

1. Product Overview

The Kewig K10-KC Auxiliary LED Lights Kit is designed to provide enhanced illumination for various vehicles, including motorcycles, trucks, Jeeps, ATVs, and UTVs. These lights feature a robust aluminum alloy body, high-quality LED chips, and advanced optical lenses for superior performance.

  • High Quality Construction: The main lamp body is crafted from aluminum alloy using a CNC one-piece molding process, ensuring durability and resistance to fading or corrosion. An IP68 waterproof rating protects against rain and snow. The honeycomb design facilitates efficient heat dissipation, preventing overheating and extending the lifespan of the LEDs.
  • Advanced Optical Design: Equipped with high-quality chips and high borosilicate optical lenses, these lights deliver up to 60W and 5000 lumens. The optical glass lens significantly improves light throw and focus, providing a clear beam pattern suitable for various weather conditions.
  • Versatile Lighting Modes: The kit includes a 6.7ft waterproof harness with a switch for easy mode selection. It offers three primary light modes (white, amber, and mixed amber & white) and three warning light modes (left/right time-sharing strobe, left/right alternating strobe, and left/right simultaneous strobe) to adapt to different riding or driving scenarios.
Kewig LED Light Features: EMC anti-interference, stable current, no radiation, plug & play, efficient heat dissipation, adjustable, high borosilicate glass lens.

3. Operating Instructions

The switch controller allows you to cycle through different lighting and warning modes.

3.1 Light Modes

The lights offer three distinct modes:

  • White Light Mode: Provides a bright, clear beam for maximum visibility.
  • Amber Light Mode: Offers enhanced visibility in fog, rain, or dusty conditions.
  • Amber & White (Mixed Light) Mode: Combines both colors for a balanced beam.

To switch between these modes, turn on the low beam, then click the switch to cycle to high beam, and click again to cycle through the available light modes.

3.2 Warning Light Modes

The lights also feature three warning light modes for increased safety:

  • Left and right time-sharing strobe
  • Left and right alternating strobe
  • Left and right simultaneous strobe

To enter the burst mode (strobe), click the switch. Then, click again to cycle between the three warning light modes.

3.3 Overtaking Light Switch

The switch in ACC mode can be used to operate the overtaking light function.

4. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Kewig Auxiliary LED Lights, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the light lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that could scratch the lens.
  • Connection Check: Regularly inspect all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Tighten any loose connections.
  • Housing Inspection: Check the aluminum alloy housing for any signs of damage or wear. While the lights are IP68 rated, severe physical damage can compromise their waterproof integrity.
  • Bracket Security: Verify that the mounting brackets are firmly attached and that the lights are securely positioned. Adjust if necessary.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Kewig Auxiliary LED Lights, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Lights Not Turning On:
    • Check all power connections (battery positive, negative, ACC) to ensure they are correctly and securely connected.
    • Inspect the fuse in the wiring harness. Replace if blown.
    • Ensure the switch controller is functioning correctly and is in the 'on' position.
  • Intermittent Operation:
    • Loose wiring connections are a common cause. Re-check all quick disconnects and terminal connections.
    • Verify that the ACC power source is stable.
  • Incorrect Light Mode/Strobe Function:
    • Refer to Section 3, "Operating Instructions," to ensure you are using the switch correctly to cycle through modes.
    • Ensure the switch controller is not damaged.
  • Reduced Brightness or Uneven Light:
    • Clean the light lenses to remove any obstructions.
    • Check for any physical damage to the light housing or lens.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
