2. Safety Guidelines

• Obey Traffic Laws: Follow all local traffic laws, regulations, and road signs.
• Visibility: Use the integrated headlights and taillights, especially during low-light conditions or at night. Consider wearing reflective clothing.
• Weather Conditions: Exercise caution when riding in wet, snowy, or icy conditions. The fat tires provide enhanced grip, but slippery surfaces still pose risks.

3.1. Motor

3.2. Battery

The V9-G60 features a detachable 48V 20Ah (960WH) battery. This high-capacity battery provides an impressive range of 30-70 miles on a single charge, depending on riding conditions and assist level. It can be recharged in approximately 7-8 hours.

3.3. Frame

3.8. Controls

The V9-G60 features a 7-speed gear system with a Shimano 7-Speed Shifter Gear Key, allowing you to effortlessly shift gears according to road conditions. The twist-grip throttle provides easy acceleration. Handlebar controls also include buttons for headlights, rear turn signals, electric horn, and bike switch with 5-speed switch.

3.9. Lights

The V9-G60 is equipped with a 48V high-brightness front light to enhance visibility and safety, illuminating the path ahead. Frame-integrated taillights illuminate automatically upon braking, and rear turn signals alert others to your presence.

3.10. Saddle

4. Setup

The AMYET V9-G60 Electric Bike comes 90% pre-assembled, allowing for quick and effortless setup. The included tool kit contains everything needed for the final assembly steps.

4.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

1. Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging.
2. Inspect for any shipping damage. Contact customer support immediately if any damage is found.
3. Verify all included components: Manual, AMYET V9-G60 Electric Bike, Charger, Tool Kit.

4.2. Final Assembly Steps

1. Install Handlebars: Attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten securely using the provided tools.
2. Attach Pedals: Identify left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread them into the crank arms (left pedal counter-clockwise, right pedal clockwise) and tighten firmly.
3. Install Front Wheel: Secure the front wheel into the fork dropouts and tighten the axle nuts.
4. Adjust Seat: Adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position, ensuring your feet can touch the ground when stopped.
5. Install Fenders (if separate): Attach front and rear fenders if they are not pre-installed.

4.3. Initial Battery Charge

Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. The battery can be charged while installed on the bike or removed.

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet. The charger indicator light will turn green.
2. Connect the charger output plug to the battery charging port. The charger indicator light will turn red, indicating charging is in progress.
3. Once fully charged (approx. 7-8 hours), the charger indicator light will turn green. Disconnect the charger.

5. Operating Your E-Bike

5.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display. To power off, press and hold the power button again.

5.2. Riding Modes

The V9-G60 offers three working modes:

• Pure Electric Mode: Use the twist-grip throttle for motor-only propulsion.
• Pedal-Assist Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust the assist level using the '+' and '-' buttons on the handlebar controls.
• Pure Pedal Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without motor assistance.

5.3. Gear Shifting

Utilize the Shimano 7-speed gear system to adapt to different terrains and riding preferences. Shift gears using the shifter on the right handlebar.

5.4. Braking

Apply both front and rear brake levers simultaneously for effective and safe stopping. The mechanical disc brakes provide strong stopping power.

5.5. Using Lights and Horn

Activate the front headlight and rear turn signals using the dedicated buttons on the handlebar controls. The electric horn can be used to alert pedestrians or other riders.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.

6.1. Battery Care

• Charge the battery fully after each ride, especially if it's been heavily used.
• Avoid completely draining the battery.
• If storing the bike for an extended period, charge the battery to 50-70% and recharge every 1-2 months.
• Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6.2. Tire Pressure

Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain the recommended PSI (pounds per square inch) as indicated on the tire sidewall for optimal performance and safety. Fat tires typically require lower pressure than standard bike tires.

6.3. Brake Inspection

Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary. Ensure brake levers are firm and responsive. Adjust brake cables if there is excessive slack.

6.4. Chain Lubrication

Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust. Apply bicycle-specific chain lubricant periodically, especially after riding in wet or dusty conditions.

6.5. General Cleaning

Clean your e-bike regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
