Setup

Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all packaging materials from the range. Ensure the appliance is placed on a level, stable surface. This is a freestanding unit, designed for easy integration into your kitchen layout.

Electrical Connection

The range operates on 240 Volts (AC) electric power. Ensure your electrical supply meets these requirements. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician perform the final electrical connection.

Anti-Tip Bracket Installation

For safety, an anti-tip bracket is included with your range. This bracket must be securely installed to prevent the range from tipping forward. Refer to the separate installation guide for detailed instructions on attaching the anti-tip bracket to the wall or floor.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The control panel features rotary knobs for cooktop elements and oven temperature, along with toggle switches for oven light, convection fan, and oven/broil selection. Indicator lights provide visual feedback on the appliance's status.

Cooktop Operation

  1. Turning On Elements: Rotate the desired burner control knob from 'OFF' towards 'MIN' or 'MAX'. The stovetop indicator light will illuminate when any burner is active.
  2. Adjusting Heat: Turn the knob to select the desired heat level, from 'MIN' for low heat to 'MAX' for high heat.
  3. Dual Elements: The larger cooktop elements may have dual rings. Rotating the knob from 'MIN' to 'MAX' will activate the inner ring, while further rotation will activate the outer ring for larger cookware.
  4. Hot Surface Indicator: After use, the 'Hot Surface' indicator on the cooktop surface will remain lit until the surface has cooled to a safe temperature. Exercise caution when the light is on.

Oven Operation

  1. Setting Temperature: Rotate the oven temperature knob to the desired Fahrenheit setting (from 200°F to 500°F). The oven indicator light will illuminate when the oven is heating.
  2. Oven/Broil Selection: Use the toggle switch to select between 'OVEN' (bake) or 'BROIL' functions.
  3. Preheat Feature: This model does not have an automatic preheat indicator. It is highly recommended to use an external oven thermometer to accurately gauge when the oven has reached the set temperature for precise cooking results.
  4. Oven Light: Use the dedicated toggle switch on the control panel to turn the interior oven light 'ON' or 'OFF' for viewing food during cooking.

Convection Fan

The convection fan circulates heat for more even distribution, which can reduce cooking times and improve baking results. Activate the convection fan using its dedicated toggle switch on the control panel.

Warming Zone

The cooktop includes a dedicated warming zone in the center. To activate it, press the 'ON/OFF' button located near the oven temperature knob. This zone is designed to keep cooked food warm at a low temperature.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Cooktop

The glass cooktop is designed for easy cleaning. Allow the surface to cool completely before cleaning. Use a ceramic cooktop cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the glass.

Cleaning the Oven

For general cleaning, wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use, once the oven has cooled. For stubborn stains, use an oven cleaner specifically designed for oven interiors, following the product's instructions. The oven racks can be removed for easier cleaning.

Exterior Cleaning

Clean the exterior surfaces, including the control panel and handles, with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
