1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and programming of the Runleader RL-BI609A Digital Battery Indicator. 2. Key Features

3. Setup and Installation

The RL-BI609A is designed for easy snap-in panel mounting. Follow these steps for proper installation and wiring:

3.1 Panel Cut-out and Mounting

The required panel cut-out size is 70.5mm x 34.5mm (2.78 x 1.36 inches). Ensure the panel thickness is suitable for snap-in mounting.

3.2 Wiring Connections

Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) ports of the indicator to your battery for power. For normal battery power display and monitoring, link the "key switch" port to the positive (+) terminal.

Note: Ensure the "key switch" pole is connected back to the positive (+) terminal to enable normal power display.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed and powered, the RL-BI609A will display battery information on its screen.

4.1 Battery Capacity and Voltage Display

The display shows the remaining battery capacity using 10 progress bars and a percentage value. It also continuously monitors and displays the real-time battery voltage.

4.2 Backlight Control

The white backlight can be configured for different modes: always on, always off, or automatic. Refer to the programming section for details on how to adjust this setting.

5. Programming Parameters

The RL-BI609A allows for customization of various parameters to suit different battery types and operational needs. This requires the Runleader PG600 programmer (sold separately).

5.2 Programmable Working Parameters

Using the PG600 programmer, you can adjust parameters such as charge and discharge voltages, battery capacity, discharge delay time, charging voltage, and various display modes.

6. Over-Voltage and Under-Voltage Alert
