3. Setup and First Use

3.1. Charging the Batteries

  1. Connect the charging cable to the batteries.
  2. Plug the charging cable into a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
  3. Allow batteries to fully charge before first use. Charging indicators on the battery pack will show progress.

3.2. Wearing the Socks and Connecting Batteries

  1. Put on the heated socks. Ensure they fit comfortably.
  2. Locate the battery pocket on the upper calf of each sock.
  3. Connect a fully charged battery to the cable inside the battery pocket.
  4. Insert the battery into the pocket and secure it with the button closure to prevent it from falling out.

4. Operating the Heated Socks

4.1. Manual Control

The battery pack features a power button and indicators for temperature levels. Press the power button to cycle through the heating levels:

  • Level I (Low): 100°F-104°F (38°C-40°C), estimated duration 8-10 hours.
  • Level II (Medium): 104°F-113°F (40°C-45°C), estimated duration 6-7 hours.
  • Level III (High): 122°F-131°F (50°C-55°C), estimated duration 5-6 hours.
  • Level IV (Higher): 140°F-149°F (60°C-65°C), estimated duration 3-4 hours.

Note: The above data is based on laboratory tests at a room temperature of 77°F (25°C). Actual duration may vary based on environmental conditions and battery charge.

4.2. APP Control

For advanced temperature control and monitoring, download the KEMIMOTO app on your smartphone. Ensure your mobile phone's Bluetooth is turned on.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1. Washing Instructions

To ensure the longevity of your heated socks, follow these washing instructions:

  1. Remove the battery: Always disconnect and remove the batteries before washing.
  2. Use a laundry bag: Place the socks inside the provided laundry bag to protect them during washing.
  3. Machine wash: Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water.
  4. Hang to dry: Do not tumble dry. Hang the socks to air dry completely before re-inserting batteries or storing.

5.2. Storage

Store the socks and batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure batteries are partially charged (around 50%) if storing for extended periods to maintain battery health.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Socks not heating:
    • Ensure batteries are fully charged and correctly connected to the socks.
    • Verify the power button on the battery pack is pressed and the heating level is selected.
    • Check if the app is connected via Bluetooth and the temperature is set above 'OFF'.
  • Battery not charging:
    • Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the battery and the power source.
    • Try a different USB power adapter or charging cable.
  • App connectivity issues:
    • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
