INSTALLATION TIPS
Estimated installation time: 50 minutes. Required tools: Open ended Allen spanner wrench.
STEP 1: Pre-assembly
Pre-assemble the speaker [1] and bracket [2] together with eight screws [4], washers [5], and flat washers [6].
STEP 2: Mount Clamp
Fit the throat clamp [3] onto the front and rear crossbeams of the vehicle's roof roll cage. This clamp is designed for crossbeams with a diameter of 1.75-2.0 inches.
STEP 3: Secure Speaker Assembly
Adjust the position of the support bracket [2] according to the distance of the roll bar. Tighten the screw on the back of speaker [1] when it is in the appropriate position to secure it. Fix speaker [1] bracket [2] onto the roll bar through the throat pipe [3]. Note: the bracket [2] is adjustable within a length range of 450-755mm (17.7-29.5 inches).
WIRING DIAGRAM
The wiring diagram illustrates the system connections:
- Power Supply connects to the Power Connector.
- Signal Connector from speakers connect to the Controller.
- Bluetooth Signal Line connects to the Controller.
- Controller has connections for USB Connector, AUX IN Connector, and CONTROLLER Connector.
- The system supports USB and AUX inputs.
- The diagram shows two speaker units, each with a connector, linking to the controller.
STEP 4: Connect Power Wires
Connect the Red Wire (+) to the positive terminal and the Black Wire (-) to the negative terminal of the power source.
STEP 5: Connect Main Unit
Connect the main unit's power and signal cables as per the wiring diagram.
FUNCTION AND OPERATION
Control Buttons:
- ① Power/Mode Button: Long press [O/MOD] for power on/off. Short press [O/MOD] to cycle through BT-AUX-USB modes.
- ② Play/Pause Button: When playing USB, AUX, or Bluetooth music, short press for pause function; short press again to resume playback.
- ③ Previous Track/Decrease Volume Button: When playing music, short press for previous track selection. During music playback, long press for volume decrease function.
- ④ Next Track/Increase Volume Button: When playing music, short press for next track selection. During music playback, long press for volume increase function.
BLUETOOTH PAIRING
Pair your phone with your speaker:
- Long press the Power/Mode button [O/MOD] to turn on the unit.
- Short press [O/MOD] again to switch to BT (Bluetooth) mode.
- Bring your phone close to the main unit and turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone.
- Search for the main unit's Bluetooth name "KEMIMOTO-T1" on your phone.
- Once the Bluetooth connection is successful, the main unit will emit a "ding" sound.
