2. Package Contents

3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
  2. Gently slide the cover downwards to remove it.
  3. Insert the two AAA rechargeable batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

3.2. Connecting the Base Unit

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the main charging base.
  2. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
  3. Plug the power adapter into the DC IN jack on the main charging base.
  4. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. For the secondary charging base, simply plug its power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. No telephone line connection is needed for the secondary base.

3.3. Charging the Handsets

Place each handset onto its respective charging base. The display on the handset will indicate that it is charging. For optimal battery performance, allow the handsets to charge for at least 15-20 hours before initial use.

4. Operating Your Phone

4.1. Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Pick up the handset or press the Talk button. Dial the desired phone number.
  • To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, pick up the handset or press the Talk button.
  • To End a Call: Place the handset back on the charging base or press the End button.

4.2. Integrated Speakerphone

During a call, press the Speakerphone button to activate the speakerphone function. Press it again to switch back to the handset earpiece.

4.3. Caller ID

The phone supports Caller ID (subscription required from your telephone service provider). Incoming call information will be displayed on the handset screen.

4.4. 20 Contact Directory

Store frequently called numbers in the phone's directory. Refer to the on-screen menu for instructions on adding, editing, and deleting contacts.

4.5. Reminder Alarm

Set alarms for important events using the handset's menu options. The alarm will sound at the set time.

4.6. DECT 6.0 Technology
