2. Setup and Assembly
Your ADO A20FXE electric bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup and assembly.
2.1 Unfolding the Bike
- Carefully remove the bike from its packaging.
- Locate the main frame hinge and release the safety latch.
- Unfold the frame until it locks securely into place. Ensure the latch is fully engaged.
- Unfold the handlebar stem and secure it with its quick-release lever. Adjust the handlebar height as desired.
- Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the seat height for comfortable riding. Secure with the quick-release lever.
- Unfold the pedals if they are in a folded position.

2.2 Initial Battery Charging
Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. The battery can be charged directly on the bike or removed for charging.
- Connect the charger to the battery charging port.
- Plug the charger into a standard power outlet.
- The charging indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 6-7 hours.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

2.3 Pre-Ride Checks
Always perform these checks before each ride for safety:
- Tires: Check tire pressure. The 20*4.0 inch fat tires should be inflated to the recommended pressure (refer to tire sidewall).

3.2 Pedal Assist System (PAS) and Throttle
The ADO A20FXE offers multiple riding modes:
- Pedal Assist Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal. You can select different levels of assistance via the display controls.

3.4 Braking System
The ADO A20FXE features an upgraded mechanical disc brake 3.0 with a dual-push braking system for smooth and quick stops.
- Always apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for balanced and effective stopping.
- Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds or on slippery surfaces.
