4. Setup and Connectivity
The Redragon M914P mouse supports three connection modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth, and Wired (USB-C).
4.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection
- Locate the 2.4G USB receiver stored in the compartment on the underside of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
- Slide the mode switch on the underside of the mouse to the "2.4G" position.
- The mouse should automatically connect. If not, press any button on the mouse to activate it.

4.2. Bluetooth Connection
- Slide the mode switch on the underside of the mouse to the "BT" (Bluetooth) position.
- Press and hold the "BT Pair Button" (located near the mode switch) for 3 seconds until the indicator light under the scroll wheel starts blinking, indicating pairing mode.
- On your computer or device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- Select "BT5.1 Mouse" (or similar name) from the list of available devices to pair.
- Once paired, the indicator light on the mouse will stop blinking.
4.3. Wired Connection
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the mouse's USB-C port.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB-A port on your computer.
- The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging. It can be used as a wired mouse while charging.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. DPI Adjustment
The mouse features dedicated DPI+ and DPI- buttons (buttons 4 and 5 in Figure 3.1) to adjust sensitivity on the fly. The DPI settings can be customized via the Redragon driver software (supports 2.4G wireless and wired mode on Windows systems).

5.2. Programmable Buttons and Macros
The 9 programmable buttons can be remapped and assigned complex macro functions using the Redragon driver software. This software is compatible with Windows systems and supports 2.4G wireless and wired modes.

5.3. RGB Backlighting Control
The mouse features customizable RGB backlighting. You can personalize the lighting from nearly 16.8 million colors and choose from 6 preset RGB backlight effects. The lighting can be controlled via the Redragon driver software or by pressing the dedicated RGB On/Off button on the underside of the mouse.

6. Charging and Battery Life
The Redragon M914P mouse is rechargeable. Connect it via the USB-C cable to charge. A full charge provides up to 70 hours of battery life with RGB lighting off in 2.4G mode. The mouse will automatically enter sleep mode after 8 minutes of inactivity to conserve power.

7. Maintenance
- Keep the mouse clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the mouse to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not disassemble the mouse, as this may void the warranty.
- Store the USB receiver inside the mouse's compartment when not in use to prevent loss.
8. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the mouse is charged.
- Check the connection mode switch (2.4G, BT, or Wired) is in the correct position.
- For 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in. Try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the mouse is properly paired and your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Try re-pairing.
- For wired, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
- Restart your computer.
- DPI/RGB settings not applying:
- Ensure you are using a Windows operating system.
- Ensure the mouse is connected via 2.4G wireless or wired mode, as the driver software does not support Bluetooth.
- Download and install the latest Redragon driver software from the official Redragon website.
- Mouse auto-sleeps too quickly:
- The mouse is designed to auto-sleep after 8 minutes of inactivity to save power. This is normal behavior. Move or click the mouse to wake it up.
