Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Jazmm AM/FM Portable Radio. This compact and versatile radio is designed to provide excellent reception and clear audio for your listening pleasure. Featuring a large LCD screen, stereo earphone support, and multiple functions like an alarm clock and sleep timer, it's perfect for personal use at home or on the go. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new radio.

What's Included

Note: 2 AAA batteries are required for operation and are not included in the package.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The radio operates on 2 AAA batteries (not included). For optimal performance and long-lasting use, alkaline batteries are recommended.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
  2. Slide the cover downwards to open it.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

2. Earphone Connection

For private listening, connect the included stereo earphones to the 3.5mm earphone jack located on the top of the radio.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

To turn the radio on, slide the POWER switch (often combined with SLEEP) located on the side of the radio to the 'ON' position. To turn it off, slide it to the 'OFF' position.

2. Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the VOLUME +/- buttons or slider on the side of the radio. Press V+ to increase volume and V- to decrease volume.

3. Tuning and Band Selection

The radio supports both AM and FM bands. The large LCD screen displays the current frequency.

4. Auto Scan and Preset Stations

The radio can automatically scan and save up to 20 preset stations for quick access.

5. Alarm Clock Function

The radio includes a digital alarm clock with a snooze function.

6. Sleep Timer Function

The sleep timer allows the radio to automatically turn off after a set period, conserving battery life.

7. Lock Key

The lock key feature prevents accidental button presses, useful when carrying the radio in a pocket or bag.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
