4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Before Installation

• Measure your door frame carefully to determine the required length of the top bar and fabric panels.
• If necessary, shorten the top bar and fabric panels individually to fit your door dimensions. Use appropriate tools for cutting.
• Clean the surface where the curtain will be mounted thoroughly. Ensure it is free of dust, grease, and moisture.

4.2. Installation Steps

Choose one of the two mounting methods:

Method A: Permanent Fixation (using extra strong adhesive tape)

1. Attach the extra strong adhesive tape firmly to the clean, dry surface of your door frame where the top bar will be placed.
2. Carefully align the top mounting bar with the adhesive tape and press it firmly into place along the entire length. Ensure a secure bond.
3. Attach the four fabric panels to the top bar according to the instructions provided, ensuring they hang straight and are evenly spaced.

Method B: Removable Fixation (using velcro tape)

1. Attach one side of the velcro tape to the clean, dry surface of your door frame where the top bar will be placed.
2. Attach the corresponding velcro side to the top mounting bar.
3. Align the top mounting bar with the velcro on the door frame and press firmly to secure.
4. Attach the four fabric panels to the top bar according to the instructions provided, ensuring they hang straight and are evenly spaced.

Ensure the sewn-in weights at the bottom of each fabric panel are free to move and help the curtain hang tautly.

5. Operating Instructions

The LIVARNO HOME Insect Screen Door Curtain is designed for easy walk-through access. The individual fabric panels, weighted at the bottom, will separate as you pass through and then fall back into place, creating a continuous barrier against insects.

• To pass through, simply walk through the curtain. The weighted panels will part and then close behind you.
• Ensure the panels are not obstructed by furniture or other objects to allow them to close properly.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: The fabric can be gently wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow to air dry completely.
