Setup Guide
1. Installing Batteries
The camera requires 8 AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included). For optimal performance, especially in cold weather, lithium batteries are recommended.
- Open the camera's main housing by unlatching the side clips.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the camera.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
2. Inserting the SD Card
A 32GB SD memory card is included with your bundle. The camera supports SD cards up to 512GB.
- With the camera open, locate the SD card slot on the side of the internal display.
- Insert the 32GB SD card into the slot with the label facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

3. Mounting the Camera
The camera comes with an all-steel adjustable tree mount bracket and a 6 ft. camera strap.
- Attach the camera to a tree or post using the provided strap. Thread the strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
- Alternatively, use the integrated all-steel adjustable tree mount bracket for more precise positioning. Secure the bracket to a surface using screws (not included) or attach it to a tree with the strap.
- Position the camera approximately 3-5 feet off the ground, pointing towards the area you wish to monitor. Ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the lens or motion sensor.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- To power on, open the camera and slide the power switch to the "ON" position. The screen will illuminate.
- To power off, slide the power switch to the "OFF" position.
2. Navigating the Menu
Use the control buttons next to the screen to navigate the menu:
- UP/DOWN Arrows: Scroll through menu options.
- LEFT/RIGHT Arrows: Change settings within an option.
- OK Button: Confirm selection.
- M (Menu) Button: Enter/Exit the main menu.
3. Basic Settings Configuration
Access the menu to configure essential settings:
- Mode: Select "Trail Camera" for standard operation.
- Photo Resolution: Set to 24MP for highest quality images.
- Video Resolution: Set to 1080p for Full HD video.
- Video Length: Adjust from 5 seconds to 2 minutes.
- Delay: Set the delay between detections (e.g., 10 seconds to 1 minute).
- Time & Date: Set the current time and date for accurate timestamps on photos/videos.
4. Viewing Photos and Videos
You can review captured media directly on the camera's screen or by using the included J-TECH USB Card Reader.
- On Camera: In the main menu, select "Playback" or "View" to browse through captured images and videos. Use arrow keys to navigate and OK to play videos.
- Using J-TECH USB Card Reader:
- Remove the SD card from the camera.
- Insert the SD card into the J-TECH USB Card Reader.
- Plug the card reader into a USB port on your computer.
- Access the SD card as a removable drive on your computer to view and transfer files.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and IR filter. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
- SD Card Management: Periodically format your SD card using the camera's menu option to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important files before formatting.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the camera and store it in a cool, dry place.
