Setup Guide

1. Installing Batteries

The camera requires 8 AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included). For optimal performance, especially in cold weather, lithium batteries are recommended.

  1. Open the camera's main housing by unlatching the side clips.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the camera.
  3. Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment securely.

2. Inserting the SD Card

A 32GB SD memory card is included with your bundle. The camera supports SD cards up to 512GB.

  1. With the camera open, locate the SD card slot on the side of the internal display.
  2. Insert the 32GB SD card into the slot with the label facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

3. Mounting the Camera

The camera comes with an all-steel adjustable tree mount bracket and a 6 ft. camera strap.

  1. Attach the camera to a tree or post using the provided strap. Thread the strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
  2. Alternatively, use the integrated all-steel adjustable tree mount bracket for more precise positioning. Secure the bracket to a surface using screws (not included) or attach it to a tree with the strap.
  3. Position the camera approximately 3-5 feet off the ground, pointing towards the area you wish to monitor. Ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the lens or motion sensor.
