4. Quick Start Guide
Follow these simple steps to get your camera ready for use:
- Open Battery Case: Locate and open the battery compartment.
- Install Batteries: Insert 4 or 8 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Insert Micro SD Card: Insert the provided 32GB Micro SD card into the designated slot.
- Switch to ON: Move the power switch to the 'ON' position.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The camera operates on 4 or 8 AA batteries. For best performance and longer battery life, we recommend using high-quality alkaline or rechargeable AA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
5.2 SD Card Installation
A Micro SD card (up to 128GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) is required to store photos and videos. Insert the card into the SD card slot until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.
5.3 Mounting the Camera
The camera can be mounted using the included strap or a tripod. Securely attach the camera to a tree or post, ensuring it is stable and pointed towards the desired monitoring area. For optimal motion detection, position the camera at a height of approximately 3-6 feet (1-2 meters) from the ground.
6. Operating the Camera
6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The camera has a three-position power switch: OFF, SETUP, and ON.
- OFF: Camera is powered off.
- SETUP: The screen will turn on, allowing you to access the menu to set working modes and parameters.
- ON: After pressing the OK key for 10 seconds in SETUP mode, the screen will close, and the camera enters infrared detection mode, ready to capture.

6.2 Menu Settings
In SETUP mode, use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK, Menu) to adjust settings such as:
- Photo/Video Resolution
- Trigger Interval
- PIR Sensitivity
- Time Lapse
- Date and Time Stamp
- Format SD Card

6.3 Viewing Photos/Videos
You can view captured media directly on the camera's LCD screen in SETUP mode by pressing the 'REPLAY' button. Use the navigation buttons to browse through files.
6.4 Connecting to Computer
To transfer files to your computer, connect the camera using the provided USB cable. The camera will appear as a removable disk drive, allowing you to access and copy your photos and videos.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Wipe the camera body with a soft, damp cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
7.2 Battery Care
Remove batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Replace all batteries at the same time with new ones.
