The Veise RZ06B Smart Lock is battery-powered and requires 4 AA batteries (not included). 7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- App cannot find or connect to the lock: Ensure Bluetooth is on, the lock is activated (touch keypad), and try resetting the lock if issues persist.
- Lock does not respond: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the lock is properly installed and all cables are connected.
- Incorrect code attempts: The lock features an anti-cracking mechanism. After 5 incorrect code entries, the lock will temporarily disable the keypad for 2 minutes.
- Remote access not working: Verify that the Veise G2 Gateway is properly connected to power, Wi-Fi, and linked to your lock in the app. Ensure your internet connection is stable.
7.2 Security Features
- Anti-Peeping Passcode: You can enter random digits before or after your actual passcode to prevent others from guessing your code. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer string.
- Anti-Cracking: As mentioned, repeated incorrect entries will temporarily lock out the keypad.
