1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the AULCMEET AN-MR20GA Magic Remote Control, designed as a replacement for LG Smart TV models. This remote offers intuitive pointing, wheel control, and voice command capabilities for an enhanced television viewing experience.

1.1 Compatibility

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AA batteries for operation. Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Press the 'PUSH' button or slide the cover down to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Pairing the Remote Control

To use the Magic Remote, it must be paired with your LG Smart TV. Follow these steps:

1. Turn on your LG Smart TV.
2. Point the Magic Remote towards your TV.
3. Press the Wheel (OK) button. The remote will automatically register to your TV.
4. A message confirming successful pairing will appear on your TV screen. If pairing fails, try pressing the Smart Home button and the Back button simultaneously for 5 seconds to unpair, then repeat step 3.

3. Operating the Remote Control

3.1 Basic Functions

• Power Button (Red Circle): Turns the TV on or off.
• Number Buttons (0-9): Enter channel numbers or other numerical inputs.
• Volume Up/Down: Adjusts the TV volume.
• Channel Up/Down: Changes TV channels.
• Mute Button: Mutes or unmutes the TV sound.
• Back Button: Returns to the previous screen or menu.

• Settings Button (Gear Icon): Opens the TV's settings menu.

3.2 Magic Remote Features

• Pointing: Move the remote to control an on-screen cursor, similar to a mouse.
• Wheel (OK) Button: Press to select items, or rotate to scroll through lists and web pages.
• Voice Control (Microphone Icon): Press and hold the voice button, then speak into the remote to use voice commands for search, channel changes, or app launching.
• Quick Access: Long-press a number button (1-9) to assign an app or TV channel for quick access. A short press will then launch the assigned item.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

4.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both AA batteries at the same time with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

• Remote not responding:
  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
