1. Product Overview
The INJORA RC Shock Flex Blades are CNC machined aluminum accessories designed to enhance the suspension articulation of your 1/18 scale TRX4M Defender or Bronco RC Crawler. These blades replace the stock shock mounts, allowing for significantly increased chassis flex and improved off-road performance, particularly over uneven terrain.
2. What's Included
Your INJORA RC Shock Flex Blades package includes the following components:
- 4 x Upper Flex Blades (labeled FUR, RUR, FUL, RUL)
- 4 x Lower Flex Blades (labeled FLL, RLR, RLL)
- Mounting Screws (various lengths)
- Brass Bushings

4. Installation Guide
Installation of the INJORA RC Shock Flex Blades requires basic tools such as a small Phillips head screwdriver and possibly a hex wrench. It is recommended to work on a clean, well-lit surface to avoid losing small parts.
4.1 General Steps:
- Power off your RC crawler and disconnect the battery.
- Carefully remove the body shell of your TRX4M.
- Identify the existing shock mounts on your vehicle.
- One by one, remove the screws securing the stock shock mounts. Keep track of which screws go where.
- Replace the stock mounts with the corresponding INJORA Flex Blades (upper and lower). Ensure correct orientation as indicated by the labels (FUR, RUR, FUL, RUL for upper; FLL, RLR, RLL for lower).
- Secure the new flex blades using the provided screws and brass bushings. Do not overtighten.
- Repeat for all four corners of the vehicle.
- Once all flex blades are installed, gently test the suspension articulation to ensure smooth movement and no binding.
- Reattach the body shell and reconnect the battery.

5. Operating Considerations
The INJORA Shock Flex Blades significantly increase the articulation of your RC crawler's suspension, allowing it to conform better to extreme terrain and maintain tire contact for improved traction. This is particularly beneficial for rock crawling and overcoming obstacles.
However, increased flex can sometimes lead to a higher center of gravity when one side of the vehicle is fully articulated, potentially causing the vehicle to tip on very steep side inclines. Users may need to adjust their driving style or consider additional modifications (e.g., heavier wheels, lower battery placement) to optimize stability for specific crawling scenarios.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your INJORA RC Shock Flex Blades, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: After use, especially in dusty or muddy conditions, clean the flex blades and surrounding suspension components to remove dirt and debris. A soft brush and compressed air can be effective.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all screws and connections to ensure they are secure. Tighten any loose screws, but avoid overtightening which can strip threads.
- Lubrication: While not typically required for these components, ensure that the shocks themselves are clean and operating smoothly.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues after installing the flex blades, consider the following:
- Limited Flex/Binding:
- Ensure all screws are properly tightened but not overtightened, which can restrict movement.
- Check for any interference with other chassis components, wires, or the body shell. Adjust as necessary.
- Verify that the correct flex blades are installed in the correct positions (front/rear, upper/lower).
- Vehicle Tipping Easily:
- This can be a consequence of increased flex on very steep side inclines. Consider adding weight to the wheels or lower parts of the chassis to improve stability.
- Adjust your driving approach on challenging terrain.
