3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Physical Installation
The ieGeek Floodlight Camera is designed for wall-mounted installation. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the device's weight. This device requires a wired power connection (AC 100V~240V).
- Power Disconnection: Before installation, ensure the power to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Mounting Location: Choose an optimal location that provides the desired viewing angle and motion detection coverage, typically 8-10 feet above the ground.
- Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws and wall anchors. Use the foam pad between the bracket and the wall for a secure seal.
- Wire Connection: Connect the camera's power wires to your home's electrical wiring according to local electrical codes. If unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
- Secure Camera: Attach the floodlight camera unit to the mounting bracket. Ensure it is firmly secured.
- Adjust Angle: Once mounted, you can freely adjust the angle of the floodlights and the camera to cover your desired area. The camera features a 360° rotatable base design.

3.2 App Setup (ieGeek Cam or CloudEdge)
The ieGeek Floodlight Camera operates with the ieGeek Cam or CloudEdge mobile application. This camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks.
- Download App: Search for "ieGeek Cam" or "CloudEdge" in your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS) and download the application.
- Create Account: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Tap the "+" icon in the app to add a new device. Select the appropriate camera model.
- Connect to WiFi: Follow the app's prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. You may need to scan a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.
- Device Naming: Assign a name to your camera for easy identification (e.g., "Front Yard Camera").

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Real-time Viewing and Remote Control
Access live video feeds and control your camera from anywhere using the ieGeek Cam app. You can view up to 4 monitoring screens simultaneously.

4.2 Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera features a 150° PIR motion sensor. When motion is detected, the floodlights can activate, and you will receive instant alerts on your smartphone. You can customize motion detection zones to reduce false positives, focusing on specific areas like a garden or driveway.

An audible 110db alarm can be manually activated via the app to deter intruders. The alarm can also be set to automatically activate at night upon motion detection.
4.3 Night Vision
Equipped with a 1/2.7'' 3Mega CMOS image sensor, the camera provides 2K (3MP) video resolution. It offers up to 25m (82ft) of color night vision, providing clear, full-color images even in low-light conditions, thanks to its ultra-bright 2600LM floodlights.

4.4 Two-Way Audio
The built-in microphone and speaker allow for two-way communication through the app. This feature enables you to speak to visitors, delivery personnel, or deter unwanted individuals remotely. The camera also works with Alexa, allowing voice commands for certain functions.

4.5 Lighting Control
