Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

11. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
13. Ensure the lid is securely closed during operation.

Setup and First Use

Before using your new electric kettle, please follow these steps:

1. Remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its base.
2. Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface.
3. Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX fill line (1.0 Liter). Do not overfill.
4. Close the lid securely.
5. Place the kettle onto the power base.
6. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
7. Press the power switch down to begin boiling. The indicator light will illuminate.
8. Once the water boils, the kettle will automatically shut off, and the indicator light will turn off.
9. Discard this first boiled water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the kettle thoroughly before initial use for beverages.

Operating Instructions

Boiling Water

1. Ensure the kettle is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (1.0 Liter). For a single cup, use the internal 1-cup marking for faster boiling.
3. Securely close the lid.
4. Place the kettle firmly onto the power base.
5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
6. Press the power switch down. The indicator light will turn on, signifying that the kettle is heating.
7. The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches a rolling boil, and the indicator light will extinguish.
8. You can lift the kettle from its base for pouring. The base remains plugged in.

Precise Pouring

The gooseneck spout is designed for controlled and steady pouring, ideal for pour-over coffee or tea.

• After boiling, lift the kettle from the base.
• Hold the ergonomic handle firmly.
• Tilt the kettle to direct the water flow precisely from the gooseneck spout.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your kettle.

General Cleaning

1. Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
3. The interior of the kettle can be rinsed with water. For stubborn stains, use a soft brush or sponge with mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Do not immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or next use.

Descaling (Removing Mineral Deposits)

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descale regularly to ensure optimal performance.

1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
3. Allow the solution to soak in the kettle for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy deposits.
4. Pour out the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
5. Boil a kettle full of fresh water and discard it to remove any residual vinegar taste.
