7. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your trimmer.
7.1 Cleaning
- After each use, turn off the trimmer and remove the blade.
- Use a brush or cloth to remove any grass clippings, leaves, or debris from the blades and the trimmer body.
- For stubborn residue, a damp cloth can be used, but ensure the trimmer is completely dry before storage or next use.
7.2 Blade Care
- The 65Mn steel blades are designed for sharpness and durability.
- To prevent rust, keep the blades clean and dry after each use. Applying a light coat of machine oil to the blades before storage is recommended, especially if storing for extended periods.
- If blades become dull over time, replacement blades can be purchased.
7.3 Storage
- Store the trimmer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Ensure the battery is partially charged (not fully depleted or fully charged) if storing for long periods. Recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
- Keep out of reach of children.
