Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembling and using this bunk bed. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Weight Capacity: The upper bunk is designed to support a maximum weight of 175 lbs. The lower bunk and trundle bed are designed to support a maximum weight of 250 lbs each. Do not exceed these limits.
• Guardrails: Always use the guardrails on the upper bunk. Ensure they are properly installed and secured to prevent falls.
• Mattress Size: Use only mattresses that are 75 inches long and 54 inches wide for the full-size beds. The maximum mattress thickness for the upper bunk should not exceed 6 inches to ensure proper guardrail height. The trundle bed requires a mattress with a maximum thickness of 6 inches.
• Ladder Safety: Always use the ladder for entering and exiting the upper bunk. Do not use the bed as a climbing frame.
• Assembly: Assembly should be performed by two adults. Ensure all hardware is securely tightened before use and periodically check for tightness.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the bed.
• No Horseplay: Prohibit horseplay on or under the bed.
• Children: The upper bunk is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Assembly Instructions

It is recommended that two adults assemble this bunk bed. Clear a spacious area for assembly and keep all hardware within reach. Do not fully tighten bolts until instructed.

Step 1: Unpack and Identify Components

Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the parts list to identify each piece.

Step 2: Assemble the Lower Bunk Frame

Begin by connecting the side rails to the headboard and footboard of the lower bunk. Insert the wooden slats into the designated slots and secure them. Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten.

Step 3: Assemble the Upper Bunk Frame

Follow a similar process for the upper bunk frame, attaching side rails to the headboard and footboard. Install the slats for the upper bunk.

Step 4: Attach Guardrails and Ladder

Securely attach the guardrails to the upper bunk frame as indicated in the diagram. Then, attach the ladder to the designated side of the bunk bed, ensuring it is stable and safe for climbing.

Step 5: Assemble the Trundle Bed

Assemble the trundle bed frame by connecting its side rails and installing the slats. The trundle bed is designed to slide underneath the lower bunk.

Step 6: Final Tightening and Inspection

Once all components are assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Ensure the bed is stable and all safety features are correctly installed. Place mattresses on the bunks and trundle.

Optional Configuration: Two Separate Beds

This bunk bed can be configured into two separate full-size beds. To do this, carefully separate the upper and lower bunk frames after assembly. Ensure each bed is stable and all necessary components (like headboards/footboards) are securely attached for individual use.

Operating Instructions

Using the Trundle Bed

The trundle bed is designed for easy access. To use, simply pull the trundle frame out from under the lower bunk. To store, push it back underneath until it is fully concealed.

Mattress Placement

Place a full-size mattress on both the upper and lower bunks. For the trundle, use a mattress that fits its dimensions and does not exceed the maximum recommended thickness of 6 inches.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the bed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
• Hardware Check: Periodically (every 3-6 months) check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they are tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain stability and safety.
• Avoid Excessive Moisture: Keep the bed away from excessive moisture or direct sunlight to prevent warping or fading of the wood.
• Moving the Bed: When moving the bed, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the frame and floor.
