1. Product Overview

The Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Stroller is designed for versatility, converting from a single to a double stroller to accommodate growing families. Its modular design allows for various seating configurations, including a toddler seat that transforms into a lay-flat carriage mode. The stroller is compatible with Evenflo LiteMax Infant Car Seats (sold separately) without requiring additional adapters.

2. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when using the Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Stroller. This product meets Federal Safety Standards.

• Maximum Weight Capacity: Do not exceed a combined weight of 55 pounds (25 kg) for children in the stroller.
• Harness System: Always secure your child using the 5-point harness system. Ensure straps are snug and properly adjusted.
• Brake Engagement: Always engage the stroller's brake when parking the stroller or when placing/removing a child. Ensure the brake is fully engaged before releasing the handle.

3. Setup and Assembly

The Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Stroller comes with the toddler seat and stroller frame. Minimal assembly is required.

3.1 Unfolding the Stroller Frame

1. Place the folded stroller on a flat, stable surface.
2. Locate the folding latch (if applicable) and release it.
3. Lift the handlebar firmly until the frame clicks into its fully open and locked position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged before use.

3.2 Attaching the Toddler Seat

1. Align the seat connectors with the corresponding slots on the stroller frame.
2. Push the seat firmly downwards until you hear an audible "click," indicating it is securely locked in place.
3. Gently pull upwards on the seat to ensure it is properly attached before placing a child in it.

3.3 Adjusting the Handlebar

The handlebar is 4-position adjustable. Locate the adjustment buttons on either side of the handlebar and press them simultaneously to raise or lower the handle to your desired height. Release the buttons to lock the handle in position.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Converting to Double Stroller Mode

The stroller frame features an easy slide and lock system to expand for a second seat (sold separately).

1. Locate the expansion mechanism on the stroller frame.
2. Slide the frame outwards until it locks into the expanded position.
3. Attach the second toddler seat or infant car seat (sold separately) to the designated slots.

4.2 Adjusting Seat Recline and Footrest

• Seat Recline: The seat offers 3 recline positions. Locate the recline lever or button on the back of the seat and adjust to the desired angle.
• Footrest: The footrest has 6 adjustable positions. Press the buttons on either side of the footrest to adjust its angle.

4.3 Converting to Lay-Flat Carriage Mode

The toddler seat can be converted into a comfortable lay-flat carriage mode, suitable for infants.

1. Fully recline the seat to its lowest position.
2. Adjust the footrest to create a flat surface, aligning with the seat back.
3. Ensure the canopy is extended for full coverage.

4.4 Engaging the Brake

The stroller features a flip-flop friendly brake. Press down on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels to engage. Lift the pedal to release. Always ensure the brake is fully engaged when the stroller is stationary.

4.5 Using the Storage Basket

The extra-large storage basket expands to over 2 feet in length and offers easy access from both the front and back. Use it to store diaper bags, groceries, or other essentials.

4.6 Folding the Stroller

The Pivot Xpand can be stored in a self-standing, compact fold with the toddler seat still attached.

1. Ensure the seat is in an upright position.
2. Locate the folding mechanisms (usually levers or buttons on the handlebar or frame).
3. Follow the specific folding sequence as indicated by the product's physical markings or detailed instructions in the full user manual.
4. Once folded, ensure the stroller locks into its compact position and can stand independently.

5. Care and Maintenance

• Fabric, Vinyl, or Plastic Surfaces: Clean minor spills and stains with cold water and mild soap. Air dry thoroughly.
• Removable Seat Pads: If your model has removable seat pads, machine wash them separately in cold water on a delicate cycle. DO NOT use chlorine bleach. Tumble dry for 10-15 minutes on low heat and remove immediately to prevent wrinkles. DO NOT iron or dry clean.
