4. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Refer to the safety instructions in Section 2.
4.1 Mounting the Bracket
- Locate a suitable ceiling joist or a fan-rated electrical junction box capable of supporting the fan's weight.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling using the provided screws and washers. Ensure it is securely fastened.
4.2 Assembling the Fan
- Insert the downrod through the canopy and then into the motor assembly. Secure with the provided pin and screw.
- Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket hook.

4.3 Wiring
- Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to local electrical codes (typically black to black, white to white, and green/bare copper to ground). Use the provided wire nuts.
- Tuck all wires neatly into the junction box.
4.4 Attaching the Blades
- Attach each fan blade to the motor hub using the screws provided. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.

- Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with the designated screws.
- Restore power at the circuit breaker.
5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Control Functions
- ON/OFF Button: Press to turn the fan on or off.
- Speed Buttons (1-6): Select desired fan speed from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
- MODE Button: Cycles through different fan modes (e.g., natural breeze simulation, sleep mode).
- TIMER Buttons (1H, 2H, 4H, 8H): Set the fan to automatically turn off after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours.
- Summer/Winter Mode Button (Reversible Rotation): Changes the direction of blade rotation.
5.2 Summer and Winter Modes
The fan features a reversible motor to optimize air circulation for different seasons.
- Summer Mode (Counter-clockwise rotation): Creates a downward airflow, generating a cooling breeze.
- Winter Mode (Clockwise rotation): Creates an upward airflow, circulating warm air trapped near the ceiling downwards, helping to distribute heat more evenly.

To switch between modes, ensure the fan is operating, then press the Summer/Winter mode button on the remote control. The fan will briefly stop and then resume rotation in the opposite direction.
