3. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for proper installation of your AIKE Compact Hand Dryer:

  1. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Choose a suitable wall location near a 110V power outlet. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
  2. Separate the Mounting Plate: The main body of the hand dryer can be easily separated from its mounting plate. Gently slide the main body upwards or outwards from the base to detach the mounting plate. This allows for easier wiring and mounting.
  3. Mount the Plate: Use the provided screws and expansion anchors to securely fasten the mounting plate to the wall. Use the level meter to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
  4. Wiring (if applicable): If hardwiring, connect the electrical wires to the designated terminals on the mounting plate. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes. For plug-in models, ensure the power cord is routed neatly.
  5. Attach the Hand Dryer: Once the mounting plate is secure and wiring is complete, align the hand dryer body with the mounting plate and slide it down until it clicks securely into place.
  6. Secure with Safety Screw: Install the safety screw (if provided) to prevent accidental removal of the unit.
  7. Power On: Plug the hand dryer into a 110V outlet or restore power if hardwired. The indicator light should illuminate.

4. Operating Instructions

The AIKE Compact Hand Dryer is designed for simple, touchless operation:

  1. Activate: Place your hands beneath the air outlet. The infrared sensor will detect your hands and automatically activate the dryer.
  2. Dry Hands: Move your hands slowly back and forth under the airflow for optimal drying. The powerful air stream will dry your hands quickly, typically within 10-15 seconds.
  3. Automatic Shut-off: The dryer will automatically turn off once your hands are removed from the sensor area.
  4. Smart Heating: The dryer features an intelligent heating system. If the room temperature is below 77°F (25°C), the air will be warmed for a more comfortable drying experience. Above this temperature, the heater will remain off to conserve energy.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your hand dryer.

5.1. Cleaning the Air Filter

The hand dryer is equipped with a washable pre-filter to maintain air quality and performance. Clean the filter regularly.

  1. Remove the Filter Box: Locate the filter box on the underside of the unit. Hook the concave part by hand and pull it out.

  2. Extract the Air Filter: Carefully remove the air filter from the filter box.

  3. Clean the Filter: Clean the air filter using a brush or by rinsing it with water. If the filter is very dirty or over 3 years old, it is recommended to replace it. If washed, ensure it is completely dry before reinstalling.

  4. Reinstall: Once clean and dry, place the air filter back into the filter box, and then reinsert the filter box into the hand dryer until it clicks into place.

5.2. Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the hand dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your AIKE Compact Hand Dryer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
