4. Setup and Connection

The UPERFECT monitor offers flexible connection options to various devices.

4.1. Single Cable Type-C Connection

If your device (laptop, smartphone, etc.) supports Type-C Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode), you can connect the monitor using a single Type-C to Type-C cable for both video signal and power supply.

• Connect one end of the included Type-C to Type-C cable to a Type-C port on your device.
• Connect the other end to either Type-C Port 1 or Type-C Port 2 on the monitor.
• Note: If the connected device's power output is insufficient, the monitor may not function optimally. In such cases, please use the included power adapter to supply power directly to the monitor.

4.2. HDMI Connection

For devices that do not support Type-C Alternate Mode, you can use the Mini HDMI port.

• Connect the included Mini HDMI to HDMI cable from your device's HDMI port to the monitor's Mini HDMI port.
• Connect the USB-A to Type-C power cable from a USB power source (e.g., your device's USB port, a wall adapter) to one of the monitor's Type-C ports for power.
• For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the included power adapter to supply power to the monitor.

4.3. Power Supply

The monitor can be powered via Type-C from a compatible device or directly using the included power adapter and USB-A to Type-C cable. When using the power adapter, the monitor can also provide power to your connected Type-C device.

4.4. OTG Functionality

The monitor includes an OTG port, allowing you to connect USB peripherals such as a mouse or keyboard. This function is only active when the monitor is connected to your device via a Type-C cable.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your UPERFECT portable monitor, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive materials.
• Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor's casing.
• Handling: Always handle the monitor by its edges. Avoid applying pressure directly to the screen.
• Storage: When not in use, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the protective cover or case if available.
• Avoid Liquids: Keep liquids away from the monitor to prevent damage to internal components.
• Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your UPERFECT portable monitor, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Display/Black Screen:
  • Ensure all cables (Type-C or HDMI and power) are securely connected.
  • Verify that your source device (PC, smartphone, console) is powered on and outputting a signal.
  • If using a single Type-C cable, ensure your device supports DP Alt Mode.
  • Try connecting the monitor to an external power source using the included power adapter, especially if your device's power output is low.
  • Test with a different cable or source device if possible.
• Flickering Screen or Unstable Image:
  • Ensure the power supply is stable. Use the dedicated power adapter if experiencing issues with device-supplied power.
  • Check cable connections for looseness.
  • Reduce the display resolution on your source device if it's set too high for the cable or device's capabilities.
• No Sound:
  • Ensure the volume on the monitor and your source device is not muted or set too low.
  • Check if the correct audio output device is selected on your source device.
  • If using headphones, ensure they are properly plugged into the 3.5mm jack.
• OTG Function Not Working:
  • Confirm that the monitor is connected to your device via a Type-C cable. The OTG function is only active in Type-C connection mode.
  • Ensure the USB peripheral (mouse, keyboard) is functioning correctly.
